Cowboys should be looking to make a deal for a RB

i don't think they need to trade for a back. I wouldn't be against them signing Fournette but I doubt he would want to come in and play the role we would have for him. He will be offered a better situation as far as playing time goes with the way RB go down in this league. I also think our current group is good and able to do the job so I don't see it as a need just a way to provide a different style of runner to our O.

What about Pollard did they mention him.
He has not been impressive either.
Also, if they needed a back they would have kept Jones or brought up Davis. They don't need a back. They have outscored their opponents 70 to 10 which is historically good.

On 105.3 the FAN right now .

They aren’t overly impressed with Dowdle & Vaughn.

Vaughn was used to early in the game according to Broaddus.
After listening to the Fan for years, I am starting to wear thin on them. Its the constant need for news that is turning that station into CNN and ESPN.

MUST HAVE HEADLINES ALL THE TIME!!! Feed my need for speed, bro.

I feel like that would be the exact response of a Cardinals fan about Gallup.
They have good cap space. For 2024, the Cardinals are set to have $51.1 million in cap space with 44 players under contract - and yes, that does include Kyler Murray's $51.85 million cap figure.

Only big name really is Budda Baker that needs paid.

Just seen where Baker will be out about 4 weeks with an injury.

That station is hilarious. A few of those guys are just clueless.
Both are transplants came here for the job.

One a Jets fan and one a Washington fan. At least when they got here 20 years ago.
If the same two guys.

Who's that dude the call the "general"?

I mean, my gosh, that guy knows less about sports than pretty much any guy I know personally.

I'm ok with Vaughn. But what I don't like is running Pollard up the middle vs stout DT's non stop. That's not exactly what his MO is. Jets D did seem to wear down later in the game and Pollard took advantage. Early they need a little more misdirection, screens or maybe off tackle runs to get these behemoths tiring out.

Who cares what they think seriously.

He’s a great second-half. Running back. Definitely need someone to wear the defensive down. Told everybody pollard cannot handle the entire load. As far as the other two did perfect behind Pollard.

I hear one can cheaply sign Hall and Cooks, both...:muttley:

The situation against the Giants was that we had a huge lead and they had pretty much given up. He was given 6 carries and only gained 8 yards.
Thats one way to look at it - the game was sealed and they were basically running out the clock - giants knew we'd run and really loaded the box, I doubt very much any other of our RBs would have diff results in that particular situation.

He’s had 9 carries so far this season averaging only 2.6 a carry
Again just giving a number doesn't tell the whole story...

Game 1 - 8 yards on 6 carries for a 1.3 avg

Game 2 - 16 yards on 3 carries for a 5.3 avg

Way too much of a small sample, used wisely he can contribute.
