Just.

Stop.

Dallas.

He’s a phenomenal talent and person but injuries that he has along with our medical staff he would never see the field

what's the date on this
was reported last September. He could have had surgery to repair the deformity but would have missed the season. Tried to tough it out and was day to day all season. Again could have had the surgery but hasn't. I would expect day to day listing for the next sucker.

So expect a Sean Lee type contract? But Berry will laugh at that.

I'd expect our crack medical staff will investigate and report back.

He did make it back at the end of the season. And most recent specialist said no surgery needed. That's all we can know.

A lot of Eyores I suppose, but this is just how the Cowboys operate... let the first wave pass, and see what new opportunities become available.

Sometimes it works. Other times it has failed miserably (see 2017).

If you can't tell, I was never one to buy-in to the ET talk, and this is exactly the kind of signing I was eagerly anticipating.... but now we wait and see.

Is Earl Thomas more likely to stay healthy than Eric Berry? If yes, by how much?

They are the same age and both missed much of the past 2 seasons.

Games played the past 3 seasons:
ET: 29
EB: 19

Last 16 game season:
ET: 2015
EB: 2016

Most recent season to be named 1st team All-Pro:
ET: 2014
EB: 2016
I’m with you. Now watch we sign berry for cheaper. Blows up does great. We gotta resign him next season to a big deal lol

I would consider Berry if the medical reports are good and he's willing to sign an incentive-laden deal.

But I think the Cowboys would be better off looking at Adrian Phillips, Tre Boston, or George Iloka at this point. All cheaper, all better than Heath.
