I actually like Worley. 6'1" and 215 lbs, only 25 years old. I don't know the details of the contract, but I'm guessing very little risk here, and if you gamble some, gamble on size and youth. People are right, he wasn't stellar in 2019, although he only allowed completions on 53.5% of targeted passes.
Only 5 INT's in his 4-year career, with just 1 last year, he had a PFF grade of 64.0.
Chidobe Awuzie - 72.2 - 59.8% - 5 penalties in 1019 snaps played
Maurice Canady - 71.5 - 63.3% completion rate - 1 penalty in 240 snaps played
Jourdan Lewis - 68.7 - 68.8% completion rate - 1 penalty in 589 snaps played
Daryl Worley - 64.0 - 53.5% completion rate (46 completions on 86 targets) - 4 penalties in 939 snaps played
Anthony Brown - 63.9 - 60% completion rate - 3 penalties in 282 snaps played
On a side note, so many of you here swear Anthony Brown is legit. Just like with Heath, I don't know what you guys or the team sees in him. I'm a bit of a DB snob, but still, I don't get it at all.
Solid press corner, gives us more size on the outside.
Trevon Diggs 6'1" 195
Reggie Robinson 6'1" 205
Daryl Worley 6'1" 215
Maurice Canady 6'1" 193
C.J. Goodwin 6'3" 190
Chris Westry 6'4" 199
Savion Smith 6'1" 200
Deante Burton 6'2" 205
Obviously, half of these guys won't make the team, but it appears the Front Office has a type, which is good, because having tall, press corners really allows you to do some aggressive things with your defense.
Very possible one or two players could be converted to Safety. It's also possible that Awuzie or Lewis could be moved, possibly as part of a package to acquire a Safety like Jamal Adams.
