The #Cowboys have released DT Landon Cohen and signed DT David Carter, a sixth-round pick out of UCLA in 2011.
The #Cowboys have also released WR Danny Coale from the practice squad and signed WR Jamar Newsome, who has 5 career receptions for 73 yards

David Carter was with Cardinals who had a solid rookie year but haven't done much after that. Hopefully he comes here with something to prove knowing that you could very well be out of another job if you don't produce.

Hate to hear about Danny Coale, I know he was a fan favorite here onthe board but hopefully Jamar Newsome can win you guys over as well.

He never gets injured. This is what makes him stand out from an otherwise china doll team. Don't get me wrong, other than that, he's garbage.

Maybe they are going to convert him to CB.

Carter is going to blossom in Dallas under Marinelli. Guy was miscast as a nose tackle in Arizona, but has good size, pretty good athlete, full of hustle and "want-to", so I am expect him to contribute very soon. Definitely worth a look-see, Cohen didn't distinguish himself.

I liked Cohen, but he is more of a space eater. Marinelli and Kiffin have proven throughout the offseason that, if you can't show some burst and get to the quarterback, the don't want you. I like Carter's measurables. Even if he never plays it's a wash though.

Late rounders are hit and miss. Harris was a great 6th round gem in 2011. Coale a 5th rounder in 2012 was a waste.

1st- Claibourne (?) 2nd- traded 3rd-Crawford(IR) 4th- Wilbur (not looking good) 5th- Coal(cut) 6th-Johnson(ir) 7th-Hanna



The whole draft class isn't looking too good right now, Claibourne is going to have to develop into a stud for this draft class to have any success.

Injuries have slowed Crawford and Johnson obviously. Crawford I think woulda been an asset this year.
