Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Jayron Kearse

Love prioritizing signing a guy we could have added last year if we wanted to.

On December 28, 2020, Kearse was waived by the Lions

On December 31, 2020, Kearse was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

The cleverest of clever.

ahh people,, Kearse is as much of a safety as Noah Brown is a WR.
There is a working class in the NFL, not all make commercials.
This move does not eliminate us from signing either Kazee or Hooker.
I think I agree there.

Do any of us really want to sign these guys....whose names you all recognize....yet arent ready to play?

I'm going to trust the people that are much more dialed in with their health than us.

It makes full sense to me that DB who blew out achilles six months ago arent healthy enough to throw millions at.

If they somehow land Moehrig in the draft it changes things.

And I'm not sure these two are going to sign elsewhere as quickly as some may think.

My prediction is Kearse and Thompson will be your starting safeties in the season opener.

With Woods/Hill, Jaylon and this new safety duo I'm really liking the middle of this defense.

I thought we already had the best ST player of all time in Goodwin.
I don't know who told you he was a great ST player.

If he were that, he wouldn't have been on a practice squad at the end of the season.

Seriously, this is like a futures deal signing.

Except it was packaged up, carnival-style, like he was competing against other talent.

I hate the way this franchise insults our intellect on a daily basis.

It is astonishing that there has been zero progress up the middle of the D.

I get how Urban is sort of exciting if you have a very low excitation level, but just get real.

We have done zero to address the issues that were right up the middle with this defense, plain as day.

Exactly.

They don't address the starting slash glaring holes because that would be admitting that their roster/line-up has glaring holes..the Jones are real football guys and they can't possibly have put together a roster that wasn't good enough.

We just need depth.

It's almost like they're not even aware of it. Like they can't evaluate talent.

Hey, they got Dan Quinn. Problem solved.

Yeah that was the excuse for Goodwin too.
And every team needs that guy that can be the ST maven.

But Kearse is not that.

This is just a signing so it can impress the mouth-breathing portion of fanbase.

Tomorrow, there will be a lot of people on Facebook asking if he is any good, someone will mention how he played at Clemson, someone will remember his pick of Prescott.

This is just so disgusting.

That is definitely the way they are going.

Hey, hey guys. So, we are just going to take a mulligan on the Nolan hire. Heh, bad things happen.

So anyways, we are going to bring back the previous scheme and now we are going to install this sooper genius okay?

Nevermind he failed in Atlanta. This is all about him bringing that Legion of Doom to Dallas even though he is doing nothing of the kind.

Sarcasm sir.

Which tells me that Quinn got his job by promising to fix everyone.

Jerry the salesman is very easily sold.

This is a complete fabrication of his ST value.

If he were that great, he would have been Teflon. Instead he was on a practice squad at the end of the year.

Say, that reminds me. It seems that we sure are spending an awful lot of capital on Fassel?

We dumped LC. We invested in a kicker that wasn't exactly reliable.

It is really getting weird now.

If he is a great ST coach, can't he develop a guy here or there?

He signs, fans whine
If he didn’t sign, the same fans still whine.

No one would be whining about not signing Kearse. In fact many would be celebrating the fact that for a split second Jerry apparently got smart.
