I don't think this signing impacts him at all, this appears to be a good quality depth signing like Rivers.

Rivers was absolutely terrible last year.

if Rivers was good enough to start on Buffalo last season he's good enough for us. Ideally i would Like McClain but its obvious the guy is unsure if he wants to play.
