I agree and with another year on his deal at 1.7 mill I expect him to be in the lineup, but does not change the fact more is needed.

No doubt that they need more pass rushers; however, Mincey was a terrific FA signing considering his cost relative to his production. The Cowboys got to the playoffs for the first time in many years with Mincey as a starter. If they can add a top FA pass rusher and Lawrence does what is expected of him then Mincey becomes the #3 guy. Any rotation with the 2014 version of Mincey as the #3 guy would be very good, IMO.

He missed some practice but he also practiced and played hurt when we thought he was out for the game. I don't question his toughness at all. Rolando as a player/man and the cowboys defense made "progress" this year, that's a fact. It was more than any of us could have hoped for when he signed. It is natural for some to pick holes at the imperfections and they can have at it.

I think we can expand on that progress in both area's, and in return secure a potential Pro-Bowl MLB to play along Sean Lee . Sean Lee and Rolando McClain together rival the LB core's of SF/Seattle for power in the conference.

Let me clarify I no problem with Ro and how he comes back. I think most his injuries was from being out of football so long. Would love for Lee, Durant and Ro to stay healthy with Carter and Hitchens we have 5 capable starters.

I just want Dallas to win, stay healthy and progress

No argument here, Mincey was a very good pick up by the Cowboys and I expect to see him in as part of a stronger rotation this coming season. Would I like more sacks from him? sure who wouldn't but when you judge him by his overall play he did a good job for the Cowboys.
