Hennessey graded out well as a starter in Atlanta in 2021. Then he got hurt, lost his job, and has bounced around since.

As a backup he fits well. Has only played center in the NFL but did see some snaps at guard in college. He's essentially Hoffman's replacement since he's the only true center on the roster outside of Beebe.

Hoffman is quality depth.

I hope Hennessy can provide the same reliability as Hoffman

My guess is Hoffman will eventually end up in Pittsburgh; there's probably just some holdup in the details of his contract.

Hennessy graded out to above average (68), although he didn’t get as many snaps becaus Brendel, their start, played like 90% of the downs

It’s not really consequential either way but I’m guessing they see some potential in Hennessy they didn’t in Hoffman.

Hennessey has started 24 games and is rated higher. Hoffman hasn't been signed and likely will have to sign a vet minimum deal. People need to do a little research. This guy was a 3rd rounder. Hoffman was an undrafted free agent. Use a little common sense.

If Hoffman was starter quality, teams would be fighting to sign the guy. They aren't. He likely ends up back in Dallas on a minimum deal or signs a very low level contract elsewhere.
