We are somewhat crowded already on the Dline. I guess they didn't see enough of/in him to keep. I get your point thou, every team releases guys every year for whatever reason, only to see that guy blow up a year or two later on another team. I am ok with this one. If he cant beat what we have on our dline rotation now...

I'd usually say "camp body" but WR was one position where there's plenty of guys there.

I can't imagine they need more camp bodies unless they plan on limiting how much the WRs play in preseason games

I'd prefer a "camp body" that could get Chaz Green off the roster. Or more than three safeties on the roster rather than 20 wide receivers when we know we're keeping seven at most.

He's a 6-2, 190-lb. WR who reportedly had a good preseason with the Houston Texans but was released. He has long-ball ability, catching 8 for 112 yards in preseason w/Houston.
