Man.. I’m reading some of these comments ..SMH

y’all wanted Barr a couple months ago, so when they give you what you want.. the pessimistic, loser comments come rolling in..

Some of you are only fans to complain ab every move. Worse than my ex.. just know, I’m good with this signing due to our depth chart. But if Barr is washed up like some here also believe, we’ll this is on every person that was crying for Barr to be signed. Everyone that said Dal was dumb for not signing him.. Well, he’s signed and is a Dal Cowboy. Be satisfied for once

I agree… and I still think he’s going to play a lot this year in passing situations. The guy is like freaky good in coverage.

I don't know. It sure seems like this move buries him on the depth chart.

I was hoping Micah and Cox would be the two lynchpins of our defense going forward.

I'm glad you're not talking to me like that. There'd be all kinds of problems.

Quinn absolutely knows better than any of us about what his defense needs. If he signed off on Barr, then I’m all good with it. I’m just glad he was even cheaper than I thought he’d be.

And I do feel like he’ll be able to play a good part in whatever defense Quinn runs out there. If he’s on a snap count, he could be very effective and stay healthy.
What you said right there is so very impromptu, dialed in, its just being smart with your personal and controlling more specifics.
Hey, there are exceptions, if I have a Charles Haley going all crazy bezerk on the opposing QB, im letting him decide when he needs to take a breather.
If I have a Barr, Im using him when needed.

I have a 37th cousin living on Saturn that was mildly offended

The big question is, does this mean more time for Micah at DE?
I think his potentiual is in a lithe DE and instigator/disruptor.

Canna wait until September!
More Kool-ade!!!
We be collecting a few different size LBs.

The one thing that I do like about Barr in Dallas is that he could at times be used as a 34 OLB/edge opposite Parsons, if that’s how Quinn wants to use him.

I don’t think it will happen a lot, but it is just another option. There are a lot of different ways to use the personnel in that look. Could have Parsons/Barr at OLB with Williams and Lawrence at 5T on third and long snaps.

Quinn was going to be creative anyway… Barr might can add to that. But who knows? It might never happen.

LB is a position of need. Cox has a lot to prove...although i think he will.
Barr could help teach the young LBs. Damone Clark, Jabril Cox, Wolf Hunter and even Micah can all learn from him.

This is a locker room signing. If/when he plays it will be situational.

I don’t want that to happen either. I don’t think it will though. Cox is just too good in coverage to take off the field for Barr on passing downs.

I hope that Quinn uses both judiciously in different situations.

‘If they start asking Barr to cover a lot then it won’t be long before Cox is replacing him, IMO.

We lack the DTs to be a top 5 defense.

This is obvious and shouldn't need to be said.
How do you know? We’ve got numerous 1st and 2nd year players at the DT position. None of us know how they will play, but I think it’s safe to say the 2nd year players have gotten better. How much better? We don’t know yet.]

Definitely will make it tougher, but it's not impossible. The Legion of Boom wasn't particularly strong at DT (Mebane, Jordan Hill, Red Bryant, Alan Branch, Clinton McDonald, Tony McDaniel and a declining Kevin Williams). They were led more by their secondary and linebackers (and some decent pass rushers).
