The one thing that I do like about Barr in Dallas is that he could at times be used as a 34 OLB/edge opposite Parsons, if that’s how Quinn wants to use him.
I don’t think it will happen a lot, but it is just another option. There are a lot of different ways to use the personnel in that look. Could have Parsons/Barr at OLB with Williams and Lawrence at 5T on third and long snaps.
Quinn was going to be creative anyway… Barr might can add to that. But who knows? It might never happen.
Something like that… but that wouldn’t be a 34.NASCAR package? Linemen -- Williams, Lawrence, Golston, Fowler and linebackers -- Barr, Cox, Parsons.
Exactly they were very thin at LB, this is a solid move.True , but LB we are thin , razor thin from one injury …. Cox coming from ACL and LVE is not sure thing with his neck.
Something like that… but that wouldn’t be a 34.
But yeah, that’s the point… Quinn will have a lot of different personnel to use in a lot of different ways.
Just moved Fowler to linebacker. So it's fixed.
Put the 7 quickest players on the field and release them all. Someone will get home and drop the QB.NASCAR package?

It will be in the nickel (or dime) so it isn’t going to be a 34 or 43 strictly speaking. Either way, LB’s will be taken out for DB’s.
I added to that post too that it will have to be nickel or dime on 3rd and long anyway.
‘It would just be about the technique that the DLis using.
I will say this, Quinn is being more set up for success than either McCarthy or Moore for that matter.
he was cheap..right up Stephen's AllyAre you sure Stephen would do this? This doesn't sound right.
Another over-the-hill signing with a notable name that appeases the casual fan. I’m not impressed
he was cheap..right up Stephen's Ally
He has a defined role carved in no time if he stays healthy and on track.Hope he does good this year.
And don't forget about Kearse. The one thing that I do like about Barr in Dallas is that he could at times be used as a 34 OLB/edge opposite Parsons, if that’s how Quinn wants to use him.

Having the personal to play a base big nickel would be something. The one thing that I do like about Barr in Dallas is that he could at times be used as a 34 OLB/edge opposite Parsons, if that’s how Quinn wants to use him.

No way. He’s a big part of the defense. I was really just talking about the rush guys though… or a possible combination that Quinn could use to let Barr rush the QB.And don't forget about Kearse.
