Cowboys to face #1 ranked defense in the Ravens

I think it will be a low scoring game. But I also don't think they have players who can threaten us like Antonio Brown of L'Bell. Regardless, we need to get healthy ... fast.

I expect another great game.

But I have a dilemma ... I agreed to attend a post-soccer season party. Since I'm one of the coaches, I'm sort of expected to show up. Now what? Help me with some excuses ...

Yes still enjoying the win vs Pitt but looking ahead Dallas will be up against the NFL top ranked defense in the Ravens who currently giving up 17.8 points a game and ranked 1st in run defense and 5th in pass defense. Cowboys need to enjoy the Pitt win today and get back to work tomorrow as they will be facing a tough defense.

true, they are a good defense, but given their offense is so pathetic teams play them conservatively. their offense is down right awful.

Other than the Raiders who they gave up 28 pts to and Pittsburgh they haven't faced many great offenses.

Their schedule other than those teams have been Cleveland twice, Buffalo, Giants (decent offense, they gave up 27), Jets, Commanders, Jaguars.

Flu, don't want to get everyone sick. That's usually golden. Stress the part about not wanting to pass it on to others. :) Enjoy the game!

Is that the same defense that let OBJ run all over the field?

Just to add some more context and why I'm not all that impressed with their defense.

They held Cleveland to 7 once which makes their defense look good, but gave up 20 against Cleveland the other game, gave up 24 to the Jets, they held the Steelers to 14 which is really good, also Buffalo to 7 pts and the Jaguars to 17 points, held Washington to 16 but still lost. So I'm not all that impressed except for that Steeler game but Ben was just coming back from injury, the Washington game was pretty good.

But overall they haven't shut down many good offenses, they're going to have to on the road against us. and their offense will have to show up too.

Ravens try to make the game ugly. They can't outscore teams so they try to just muck up the game and keep it close giving them a shot at the end.

Detroit and Philly after are no cakewalks after that either. No easy games left really. But fans of all those teams are seeing us on the schedule and saying "aw oh".
This is true. But I do get jealous looking at the Patriots remaining schedule. '9ers, Rams, Jets twice.

Looking at the Ravens schedule it does not appear they have faced many legit offenses. They beat Pitt last week when they were not executing very well. If the Ravens faced the same Steelers team the Boys did then they would have lost. Both the Giants and Raiders put up point on Ravens (lost both games). Even the Skins beat them.

Yeah but Pats are going to be in the playoffs anyway, and we're not competing with them as far as record. If and big if we face them in the Super Bowl we'll almost have homefield advantage in Houston, but people come from all over for the Super Bowl anyway.

Call in sick!

Kind of like the devil went down to Georgia...we're the best there ever wuz.

At one time the Packers had the #1 rush defense....till they met the "Great Wall" and "Zeke".

I knew GB's rush D stats were a mirage. Baltimore's D is the real deal. It will be tough sledding. Just need to stay patient and play complimentary ball until we are able to break a few big plays. Jernigan and Williams are better IMO than the 2 NYG DTs who gave us some problems. This is a great matchup of two heavyweights up front. Fortunately Balt's offense is poor and fairly 1-dimensional.

The Ravens defense is really good. They see blood (weaknesses) they attack it like a bunch of hyenas. The defense is similar to the Eagles. The Cowboys can wear them down as long as they do what they are doing. The Cowboys defense could have a field day. The Ravens offensive line is struggling.

Ravens are a team with not much fire power.

If Dallas gets a lead and stops them we will most likely go up 2 scores and we will batter them around the rest of the day.
