I’d rather have Zeke back than Ronald Jones
I see the vision for RJ. Short yardage back, still young, with a ring.

Played big in that super bowl too.

Just a little over two years ago.

In that year, he almost had 1k rushing and was 25 of 27 on rushes for less than 3 yards to go for 1st downs.

I think he is a perfect fit.

Getting RoJo on a minimum deal would be okay. Chiefs RB room was loaded last year he seems okay as a backup but def we need to draft one still.

Just because they’re not bringing in any big names on Monday doesn’t mean they’re now only going for “roster filler”. They’ve only used half of the $26M cap space they made with all those moves last week. I think there’s one more significant move they have in mind.
Well, I didn't say "only". The discussion was regarding the people coming in, which seemed to make people angry.

That seems up to date. Dallas has $10m right now and will get another $10m when they cut Zeke. Obviously still have to sign the draft pick but they definitely can add someone above the vet min level.

Anybody angry is being silly...kick the tires on anyone that would make the team better and is a good fit, can't always fill starters....however, that being said I don't see anyone in this group worthy of a roster spot at this point, would rather use the draft to fill in the roles they would play

I’d rather just draft someone mid rounds for rb
You can still do that, signing a rb doesn't stop Dallas from drafting one, they're just doing their due diligence and covering all the bases before getting ready for the draft an be in the position of selecting the best player available instead of drafting for need...

I love the FA period, it really tells you where Dallas wants to get better. If I signed with Dallas I’d want guaranteed money, the problem is they probably wouldn’t do that because they want to draft the position you just signed up to play. Dallas has been pretty good at maneuvering the Cap for years. They even work the UDFAs well. They really have an unfair advantage.

He’s a vet body behind Pollard. He’s still only 25 as well. But he’s a guy you sign, go into the draft and if something better is available you easily move on.

But he gives you depth, has won 2 Super Bowl rings and knows how to play in a commitee
I’m very familiar with him, I live in Tampa. Just not a fan, but if it’s a league min deal with no guarantees why not.

Jones is from Dallas and Howard is from Longview.

Edoga played with Jones at USC.

For cheap these dudes may be worth adding. Howard is a fast LB and dominated at TCU…..undersized tho.
They would be good pickups imo. Still want us to draft a RB though. Bijan will go earlier than people think he’s that good
