All backup type guys except Edoga could be the guy they sign to play LG and also a good run blocker. Jones should be signed as a stopgap guy depending of who we draft. Howard would see a lot of snaps on special teams.

All will be cheap on 1 yr deals if signed. And all would take care of needs for depth.

According to David Moore - I can't link the tweet, we are trying to resign Hawkins and Fowler.
Not exciting, but Hankins definitely helped last year, and Fowler was solid edge depth.

Two solid guys. Hank plays the 1 tech / run clogger. Fowler is a solid pass rusher

Really don't see the fascination with Edoga.
Can play multiple positions, has starting experience, and will be cheap to sign. Not a long term answer by any means but he'd be a nice addition for depth purposes.

I doubt that...of all the starters @ RB in the NFL last year...I would bet Zek was the slowest.
Jones II (hamstring) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds at his pro day Thursday, Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports.

A hamstring injury suffered at the combine has clouded Jones' pre-draft process as he was considered as high as the No. 2 back in the class heading into Indianapolis. As a player that carries a 'speed back' label, it was crucial for Jones to turn in a better time than the 4.65 he posted at the combine when he pulled his hamstring. The 4.48 time for Thursday isn't exceptional for someone with sights set on running a sub-4.4 time, but Jones' effort was still strong, and it's still possible that his hamstring isn't back to full health. In all, it's good that Jones was able to turn in a sub-4.5 time at his pro day, but the momentum behind him being a first-round pick has halted. Jones likely projects as an early second-round pick, but if last year was any indication, plenty of valuable backs go after the first 32 picks.

Zeke also got a very considerable amount of carries.
for real. zeke has nearly as many carries in the past two years (the lowest of his career) than Jones has for his entire career.

This is... not great.

there are 53 roster spots that have to be filled, they all cant be starters....while i agree these guys arent special in the least, the question is are they better than what we have at the bottom. Its ok to bring in guys like this just dont build the team on bringing in guys like this only.
