Cowboys to meet with Golden Tate tonight

actually newlander there are very few Irish fans here. A LOT more Irish haters so you blew it again. Tate performed against some of the best D's out there and embarrased several of them. Of course owning Mays is no particular honor but still.

A serious question, why do you care that people hate the Irish? You really take it personally and for the life of me I don't know why you should. It's the same as with the Cowboys. People hate them. Accept that and move on.

I hate them, but I'll be damned if I will let that dislike cloud my judgment on a good player. If a guy is good enough, and is the right choice, go get him. I don't care what college he attended.

That is what it should be Hos. BUt you get all these charactors carrying on their stupid hates from College to the players. And yes there are a lot of Irish haters there and I do take it personally because I am a huge fan of the Irish. Usually I just mark it down to stupidity and laugh at them, but when someone badmouths an Irish player then in the same post admits he never watched the guy play because he went to Notre Dame, he deserves whatever he gets for openly being a moron. I dislike USC very much, but I do not take that out Mays; who knows but he may make a very good LB. He stinks as a safety but as a LB maybe. If that happnes and he comes to the Boys I will give him every chance.

You heard wrong on both counts, but to the former, he does drop some easy passes, but he also makes some great ones. He's a hands-catcher too.

Like I said, I hadn't seen Tate play (or at least not much), so it really wouldn't be fair to judge his skill on second hand information.

He may not have the measurables, he might not be built like a wr, he might not be a "stud", but I thought Golden Tate was the best player in college football last year. Just my opinion. Dude attacks the ball, is dangerous in the open field, and as an added bonus can give you some big plays in the return game.

I am admitted ND hater, but I have also said many times that I like golden tate.

There can be great players on teams you hate and if someone hates a player JUST because they are on a specific team, they are idiots.
