That was a disgustingly bad trade... if Roscoe Parrish is not also a part of the deal, then we got hosed.

#51 - 481 pts.

#75 - 249 pts.
#110 - 103 pts.

Barely any teams go by the draft value chart.

i dont get this move at all.
Why not? There wasn't anyone of good value on the board at that point. I guess if you want to question it, question why we didn't trade up earlier.

I think the Browns stymied us by taking the receiver one pick ahead.

Does not mean we can call it a day. We could trade back up at the end of the 2nd round but I kind of doubt it.

Micky thinks Dallas uses that 5th pick in the 3rd round to move back into the low 2nd.

Points or not, this was our moron owner getting cute by thinking he has to make a trade.

The man makes me sick.

Yeah we got clobbered on the draft chart by 100 points.

What gives? If this is all we could get ... pick somebody at 51 ...

The biggest waste of 5 hours in a Cowboys jersey of my ****ing life. Tomorrow, let's find a team with 2 7ths, so we can trade a 6th for that, then keep wheeling and dealing until we can have ALL 32 picks in the 7th round. GO TEAM!

Post of the day. :laugh2:

I don't like it. There are good players of value available. It tells me they are targeting backup type/special team players which I hate. It also looks like they are going to trade for picks next year. I fear this is going to be a dud of a draft with hardly anyone still being around in 3 years. Not happy at all!!!

We have to trade back into the 2nd with all of our picks dont we?

Yep. We got cute and it burned us. I think we should have taken william moore. Very serviceable player.

This is stupid.

We're just going to pop back into the end of the second with a #3 and a #6/#7 - we end up probably getting one of the guys we like on our board in about the same place, and exchange a late round for a 4th.

That's probably the goal anyway.

You trade out of the 2nd totally...

Brilliant.

Jerry did have a stiff drink in his hand on the War room cam.

So by the end of the day tomorrow we will have traded away every pick and ended up with the entire 7th round of the draft all to ourselves!
