As I mentioned yesterday, trade means hints of desperation at the position. Trolling for players that are cut is just that.. trolling for overall roster improvement. This trade had to be made. Time was running out on our "no worries we're really happy with our current rbs" poker face.

I love this trade. Way to go Mr. McClay. I knew you were going to make sure that rb train wreck didn't proceed without some maintenance all along.

We'll see how everything works out but this is the type of move Stephen Jones had been looking for all along. You get a young talented RB whose strengths address what the position was lacking. Obviously not a perfect player and a team did just give up on him, but this guy probably is viewed by the NFL as the best RB on the roster now.

You know that highlights don't exist on a guy when you see training camp footage and preseason stuff for a guy who has been in the league a few years.

Michael has a lot of knucklehead to him, but he brings power that no one else on the roster possesses. For a seventh, they could do worse, but to me, it's no slam dunk that he comes into Dallas and performs well.

Now we got two of those in the back field. Him and the underwear thief.
