I've read that they're also going to release WR Josh Gordon off of IR as well. They just cut guys, name or no name. They don't care. They're stone cold killers. And it just works for them and they keep winning.

Kris Richard. When Richard was let go in Seattle, the team soon traded away Michael Bennett. I can't help but to think that there was and still is a connection between the two and that's the reason for this move.

But to be honest, a part of me wonders if Bennett will actually ever play for the Cowboys?

I think because he hasn’t even reapplied and he could of since I think around Aug 19th, that he most have had a relapsed. It’s just unusual that it’s taken so long for him to even reapply if it was just a “missed test” and he was really clean or sober. Didn’t Josh Gordon reapply around the same time in mid summer?

Yep. I hate this guys personality. He’s still got talent. And I love the principle behind the trade. We need to be better on defense. Now is the time.

I’m decidedly opposed to cancel cultural—that is, I hate when a person loses his job because some busybody unearths an objectionable comment or action he made unrelated to his job. Bennett shouldn’t be banned from football due to extracurricular behavior. There are only two pertinent questions: Can he help the team on the field? Is he a good teammate?

I really dislike Bennett and a person and player, and his tiny pads annoyed me more than they should have. Will be interesting to see how I feel with him on this team.

I’m with you. Bennett goes into my Deion Sanders / Terrell Owens category. I’m going to focus on the star and try to forget the player.
