Cowboys Training Camp Practice #9

Im not trying to be, just making a point that its not exactly Santana Moss on a fly route. Hopefully that aspect of his game continues to improve this season.

Worry about Aaron Glenn then

I agree, he finally figured out that the laces are there for a reason

yeah, he could be throwing another pick *COUGH* Romo *COUGH*

what is that? 4 in 2 days?

Bledsoe threw what, 3? 4?

we don't have to worry about Bledsoe, we've seen him in action, ROmo's supposed to be the answer w/o ever playing a down

MOXIE! :lmao2:

Yah I guess it doesn't have the same ring that "Donnie ******" does eh? Alliteration = automatically funny.

Alliteration is always funny. If it wasnt, Will Farrell would be out of a job

Laugh all you want, but Henson is nothing more than an afterthought at this point. It is longer a debate between Henson and Romo for backup, but between Bledsoe and Romo for QB in 2007.

I'm relieved, Henson's future is safe

all I needed was to see you say the contrary...

Great post, thanks.

Sounds like Henson's progressing. I liked that one stretch there where: "Henson hit Hannam on an out pattern, hit Glenn who was wide-open in the middle of the field, connected with Austin on an out pattern and then threw the last one out-of-bounds as Summers was covered in the flats."

Better yet, it sounds like all 3 QBs were solid in the goal line situation.

Surprised Carpenter is playing WILB. Think this is just to give Ellis more reps? But Carp probably needs the reps just as bad, so I'm guessing they're serious about Ellis at OLB, at least in pass rushing situations.

Really?

I tought Carpenter would be a natural inside backer in the Harry Carson mode.

You know, big, strong, fast, instinctive...

It looks to me like Carpenter, Burnett, James, and Ayodele are all capable of playing any of the four linebacker positions.

I'll take that diversity any day.

I don't really care. I said from last year's camp on that Henson would never even be ahead of Romo again on the Dallas depth chart, let alone our starter. All those who said Henson would be our backup no doubt this year will look mighty foolish around this time next month.

Come on dude, he had like the second best QB rating in NFLE playing with a bunch of scrubs. Its not like his completion percentage was 10 points lower than someone named Gibran.

I know I won't be looking foolish, cuz unlike them, and you, I dont' like foot in my mouth, doesn't taste very good, so I hold off on predicting unknowns

I know, did you see that fade route he threw over Ahkmed Ackbad Al-Jahzir St. Louis, the best corner in all of Europe? That was really something else
