Cowboys Training Camp Practice #9

Quincy, a washed up druggie that can't land a job is better than Hutch, Romo and Henson??? Not likely. I'll give you him being better than Hutch, but Romo and Henson are both still in the NFL and still Cowboys.

Quincy lead us to the playoffs. Quincy was a winner. He had moxie. He had the arm strength and mobility to move and throw on the run.

Henson has done jack. Same for Romo.

Quincy rode the coat tails of the #1 rated defense that year. Granted, he did make some plays, showed some flashes of greatness, but in the end his inconsistant talent and love of the illeagal herb did him in. I don't hate the guy, he just isn't a NFL QB.

If inconsistant = making the playoffs, I want an inconsistant QB ALL THE TIME !!!111!11!

Furthermore, QC was a gamer. Not the prettiest Qb....but he won. He was a winner. His playoff victories speak for themselves.

Bah.

Haters want to hate, then its there loss....

You're just jealous because you aren't behind the Pwat movement. :p:

Let me help you....

Pwat > Woodson

OMGWTHBBG??!?!?!?!?!?

Not gonna argue with you about a QB not good enough to make a CFL team...... Don't idolize a man who does drugs and fathers illigetimate children which he doesn't support, it makes your values and morals look bad. Football is just a kids game played by men, life is more important and Quincy doesn't even have the talent to succeed in that, I hope he gets the help he needs.

We shouldn't idolize or support Irvin and what he did for our team then?

Does that make our Super Bowls with him tainted?

This time, I am being serious....

I don't idolize Irvin, but I do acknowledge his talent on the field. I view him as a future HOF'er that deserves to be there based on what he did on the field. I in no way endorse what he has done off the field.

And did I say I idolize QC in any way, which was what you were alluding to in the "he does drugs and has illegitimate children" post of yours?

Which was why I was curious about your opinion on Irvin.

Outside of the wack nickname, you lose all credibility with that statement. Got no reason to take anything you say seriously now. :p:

It's Spiderman 4ever baby.

disclaimer: sorry to the rest of you guys, I dont' usually get into these pointless debates, just it's late and HH31 started in on me with yet another idiotic comment, which I think is his trademark, and JustSaynotoTO had to jump in because he's mad that Henson can play 2 sports while he can't play any

again, sorry

That's bs, all you do is get in to pointless debates.

Ok, trying to pull this thread back on topic...

What about Ware? I didn't see him mentioned in that report. Also, in this situation, does Ware take part in the 7 on 7 drills, or the OL vs DL drills?

he also liked to light it up, would you put your entire franchise's future in the hands of someone who would light it up? can you trust that he will be there? can you trust he will remember the play in the huddle? reliability counts in today's NFL. he couldn't be counted on. if he was any good, the Jets and many others would hang on to him. There is no wonder that he is not playing any longer and he is not being given a chance. and don't fool yourself into thinking he lead us to playoffs, the #1 defense, a soft schedule also helped.

Quincy is/was and will always be a piece of crap, but right now his 2003 season is the stuff of Drew Hensons wildest wet dreams.
