Could get us up to 4th depending on Atlanta, Houston, and Carolina.
Atlanta: heading West to Arrowhead...LOSS
Houston:Cincinnati -after thair MNF upset -going south to NRG...
50/50
Carolina: traversing north to FedEx..loss
'817Gil' --- you left out the fourth 4-win team
Philadelphia: coming down to AT&T....loss

Atlanta will def lose lol.

I don’t see Cincy winning back to back games as that Steelers game was their super bowl, way too amped for them to give a rats behind against the Texans.

How are you chalking up Carolina as a loss lol? Dwayne Haskins, Taylor Heinicke, and Steven Montez are the guys who will get a shot at the opportunity. That game is 60/40 Carolina and you could argue more if it’s one of those practice squad guys playing.

Philly could easily beat us. We have a shot too don’t get me wrong but that D-Line and the fact that we have never ever contained a running QB makes me lean their way. Closer to 50/50 though.

Cowboys more likely to drop below the current 8th spot after Sunday
Falcons @ Chiefs - Atlanta 4-11
Panthers @ Football Team - Carolina 4-11
Eagles @ Cowboys- Philadelphia 4-10-1
Bengals @ Texans - Houston 5 -10
Giants @ Ravens - New York 5-10
Buccaneers @ Lions- Detroit 5 -10
Niners @ Cardinals - San Francisco 5-10
Broncos @ Chargers - Denver 5-10
Vikings @ Saints - Minnesota 6-9
Bills @ Patriots - New England 6-9
Los Angeles 6-9
Dallas 6-9
Cowboys could drop to 12th to 15th place, depending on the draft tiebreakers

People are mad Zeke is standing up for himself? We all know he should be concerned about his cap hit + production; and he knows it too, but what did we expect him to say? “Yeah you should cut me.” ? Not gonna happen.

If the Cowboys liked Hurts so much, they should've moved up a couple of spots un the 2nd to select him.

Would've helped their leverage in negotiating with Dak.

I know we needed a CB, but if they were that big on him, you take the QB every time.
Who said they liked him in the 2nd?

MM was making it sounded like they really liked him and were considering taking Hurts. He was one of the top 5 qbs in the draft.

Surely no one thought je would last to the 3rd round.

If this was in anyway true, Dallas would have already forked the money and gave him the contract. Dak either gets tagged and plays or gets tagged and holdS out in that case dalton is the starter next season. He isn’t getting Watson money. Not by any team or teams. He will be on the market a lot longer then he expects hums that’s his mentality, same way he hasn’t got that contract him and his agent so desperately wanted.
ROFL. Have you been drinking?

If Dallas tags Dak he makes 37.7M and hit unrestricted free agency next year.
If Dallas doesn't he is an URFA and will make 40M per year easily.
It's truly impossible to know just how much he will make in that scenario because it'd be insanity to ever let him hit free agency.

Teams simply don't do it.
There are 15+ teams that need an answer at QB. Dak is an answer. He's a bonafied top 10 QB not even at his peak age yet.
If Pat Mahomes was an URFA he might make 50-55M per year. But sensibly, KC made him their chosen king extending him TWO years early at 40M AAV.
What is clear is Dak would EASILY get Watson money. 37-38M a year AAV is now the going rate for franchise QBs. Arguing otherwise is arguing the sky is red instead of blue.
It's too goofy to debate.

Come on man... you compliment opponents every week. LOL. It does not mean you were planning to draft them.
Dallas was targeting defense and felt compelled to take CeeDee because he fell.
They were going defense in rounds 2 and 3 and we saw this year why.

MM was responding to a “quote” by Jerry from yesterday. Considering it was practically word for word it seems rehearsed because he knew it was coming. Jones original comment was a response to a question of what he though so far. He’s not going to say” oh I think he sucks” ! He gave the kids some props and gushed a little like he should. No where did anyone say they were considering him in the 2nd. Considering he was rated as a 7th to UDFA going into last last year and these system QBs have repeatedly failed they would be foolish to even consider it. Give Pro DCs offseason to look at tape and he’ll be out of the league in 3 seasons. He’s a one read and run QB and will unlikely be anything more!

Please 'jterrell' --take a little bit of time from your holiday weekend celebrations to list the "15+ teams" that Prescott would be the answer for their starting QB.
No rush; expect your response by Monday.
