I don't know, $11M per year doesn't seem extreme for a safety like Thomas. He is 28 so would be 33 or so at the completion of the deal.

Personally, I am more concerned with the draft picks we would have to give up for him.

Depends on the guaranteed money. I'd be more comfortable with a 3/33 with 21 guaranteed. But that's just me.
