They set up that one play to get Dez open. The Cowboys media people (Broaddus, etc) talked about how they designed that play specifically to get him open. He didn't really do much juking.
Dez had been replaced been replaced by a top 5 WR.
Like 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon, all problems can be traced back to Dez underperforming.
At least 2 critical plays where the ball touched both of his hands and he failed to catch it. The problems are numerous.
His improper routes and mis-timed jumps make it appear to be Dak's fault but with slow motion you can see it's almost always a screw up by Dez.
If the #1 WR is easily single-covered, then other receivers will struggle. If receivers struggle then defenses load up against the run.
When the offense struggles, the very young defense struggles because they play too many snaps.
When the above happens, the coaches and players start pressing. When they press, the coaches don't force the punt retuner to fair catch like they did much of last season. The result is a turnover.
With Antonio Brown or Julio Jones the Cowboys could start buying the polish for their Super Bowl trophy and rings.
The defense will get better as the season progresses. They are super young.
The OL will start to jell as they have more time with the new players.
Any bad teams with a good WR in the last year of his contract?
Maybe when Rico returns he can be a spark plug on offense to overcome the Dez albatross.
It's sad that one player has likely doomed this team and it's the highest paid player.

Every WR in the league drops passes. I just watched the Great Odell Beckam and Mike evans drop several passes yesterday.Bad pass on the 2nd for sure. If he leads him more to the middle of the field, it gives Bryant a chance to make a play on the ball. He threw it behind them.
That being said, if you want people to believe Bryant is still a legit, upper level WR in this league, he can't freaking drop that one ball in the 3rd Q that hits him in the hands.
Frankly, the issues between Prescott and Bryant are on both, not just one or the other.

But when Dez does it, its the end of the world...
I agree with this. EVERY pass to Dez looks forced. I question whether Dak and Dez are a good fit. Dez was a good W1 for Tony. Im not sure he is for Dak. Dez can still ball IMO, but he is not meshing well with Dak.Dez and Dak are very clearly not on the same page. It's painful to watch any pass to Dez any more. Whats worse is most of the time they feel forced. I complained about that week one and 4 weeks later still do.
For one, i wasnt directing that particularly at you. Two, once again, all WRs drop passes. Three, when fans make threads saying we win super bowls with AB or Julio instead of Dez, I have to call nonsense out as I see it.Who said anything about end of the world?
But you can't ***** about him being under utilized and then not point out that he's had some pretty key drops, that being a pretty big one when the team was trying to get momentum back in the 2nd half.
You Dez guys are uber defensive. You can't even take a little bit of criticism of the guy it seems.
He's still a very good WR but the issues here aren't just on Dak.

More Dez hate
Get out with this nonsense
