I like Cooper as a backup, but his noodle arm makes the sideline passes too risky, so teams will take more of the middle away in time. We are all happy with his play and the win, but he threw at least 4 passes that could have been intercepted. He is not better than Dak….it’s a ridiculous concept no matter how one feels about Dak. No one in the NFL even wanted him when he’s been on our PS every week until Dak’s injury.

Dak is more mobile, stronger arm, can make all the passes. Both are going to have good games and bad games, but let’s not be silly about it. Moore almost cost Rush this game by putting him in 3rd and longs which is where some of those near INTs happened. Run the ball inside, pass to the RBs, pass on first down more, throw more crossing routes and slants, fewer passes to the sideline. Eliminate the stupid trickery outside runs where we don’t block the end, but keep the offense balanced. Do that for Rush, and keep doing it for Dak. Don’t call the game differently when he returns. You have a good defense, so call a smart game that plays to that strength.

We need to be a ball control offense the rest of the way, regardless of the QB. This team is not explosive at all at any position on offense. Gadget plays are not gonna work for us...because of the lack of explosive players. We need to stick with the run, mix in a ball control offense with an occasional deep shot.

Our defense kept us in it, but the run defense is still soft and our secondary is giving up to much of a cushion and the middle of the field has been wide open for defenses.

Mark this down....Kellen bails out the defense....after giving up a 20 play drive to tie it....and a 2pt conversion.

Hate all you want...but that is some Bouse State magic.

Enjoy...

Up to that TD, Kellen's offense was on the field a total of 6 out of 26 minutes in the 2nd half. Mark this down, if the offense could stay on the field even half of that 26 minutes in stead of 6, there would never have been a 20 play drive.

Kellen owes the defense for even keeping them in the game to that point.

Even after that TD, they managed only a 80 second 4 play drive before punting again.

If you try and qualify or critique a win over a Super Bowl team with your back up QB you might be doing it all wrong.
This win was very, very impressive.

RJ has been inherently negative for 2 months so not surprised he is offering golf claps for this win.

You are really easy. Typical Cowboy fan.

There was a good first half. Nice mix of run pass on offense, defense pressured Burrow like crazy. Second half, Bengals changed things up, completely dominated on offense and defense while we sputtered. Ultra conservative, silly play calls. Silly penalties.

It is great that we pulled it together to win the game. It is great that we won with the backup, who certainly deserves more respect than he has been given (myself included). The facts are that this team pulled out the win in spite of themselves and in spite of the OC and head coach.

ok, buddy. It’s been an abject disaster for 27 years, but a 7.5 pt home dog played hard and fought, got a win. This is in no way a contender but for one week they played above and beyond expectation . Nothing more, nothing less. Enjoy moms basement though

When Tyron is ready to come back, does he reclaim LT or does he get kicked inside to guard? The way Tyler is playing I don’t think I’d move him unless the wheels fall off of course.
NOPE, that would be a progress stopper

73 needs to just continue to learn, good or bad games, you let him finishes not the LT. you do realize they are top 5 DL he just faced??i hope your eyes are open this kid is ahead of schedule

so 77 comes back, hes either the Swing or the RT.

imagine
