Game Day ***Cowboys vs Bills post game thread***

Well, that's my question. Is Goff, Wentz, or Lynch a guy worth that pick? I know QB's tend to be over drafted, but compared to getting a player like Bosa or Jack? IDK.

By draft time, Lynch will be the No. 1 quarterback and will likely go before the fourth pick. But I wouldn't go up to get him.
No. 4 is too high for Goff and definitely too high for Wentz. I'd trade down or pick the best player on the board not an OL.

Oh, I'm paying attention.
Reid has done better than Garrett in the past three seasons with a lesser quarterback, unless you're willing to say Alex Smith is a better quarterback than Tony Romo.
Maybe YOU need to pay more attention to evidence and facts. :)

No he hasn't. As I said, he missed the playoffs 1 of those years and has no division titles or playoffs wins and his 1 playoff appearance he blew a 28 point lead. That's not better.

Coaching is usually the difference in those one score games.

One score games typically come down to a handful of plays. Yes, coaching makes a difference, but so does having players capable of making those plays.

Weeden making our coaching staff look terrible.

So does clock and game mgmt. Garrett is usually good for a couple losses a year on that alone. Even his daddy's friend/owner said that with the learning on the job comment.

Using your logic, Switzer must be 10 times better HC than JG. He went to the NFCC game and won a SB in his first two years.

We have months before the draft. In that time, we're going to be inundated with countless player workouts and evaluations. Things tend to play themselves out during that time. I think we'll all have a pretty good idea of who's worth taking at that spot.

I think he is. Definitely has more success in the NFL and you can add his college record too.

Do you think Romo is worth 8 pts per game or more to this offense?

AT LEAST 8?

If so then we are looking at a first round bye and everyone is praising this team and staff.

Can't have it both ways guys.

Oh how about this...

Do you think a 0 turnover differential would have created some points for the offense and saved some on defense?

And it's not like "0" is what you shoot for, but when you're -18 or whatever the Cowboys are.

No Romo

And a being last in the NFL in turnover differential.

That's a recipe for a losing season.

And it's a formula that can be turned around in one season.

And who built this team utterly incapable of winning games without Romo on the field?

You can argue luck and players all day long, but to not admit that this season without Romo has completely exposed this coaching staff for the mediocrity they are is simply dishonest. Even the huckster owner has been calling out his trainee.

In the past I would have agreed with you. The last couple of years, I haven't seen any glaring issues in that regard.

I'm not absolving Garret and his staff of any short comings this year. I've been somewhat critical, and felt they should have been better overall. But this is the same coaching staff that took us to 12-4 and a playoff win last year.

Wow, that was way too close for comfort. For a second I thought we might actually win and I started to get nervous. Then that 50 yard TD run sealed the deal and I felt way better.

The icing on the cake is the Ravens winning, so we move from #5 to #4 in the draft now..........top 4 pick baby!!!!

Please lose to the Skins next week, please!!!!

Using my logic, I didn't say any coach was better than another coach. That's you putting words in my mouth. I'm talking about better seasons during a 3 period span. Using your logic, well using your logic is trying to create an argument that doesn't exist..

The point is NFCE is as bad or worse than AFCS this year. So for you to discount the fact that teams won with backup QBs against AFCS teams THIS YEAR is moot.

In Weeden's case he won in the terrible AFCS against backup QBs!

I bet he's loving life. Ha

Not to diminish your overall point, but I find it interesting that the only time we seem to give and credence to what JJ says, comes when he's (supposedly) calling out Garrett.
