In Weeden's case he won in the terrible AFCS against backup QBs!

I bet he's loving life. Ha

And I don't know what the weather was like in Weeden's game, but I live near Buffalo, and it sure as heck wasn't conducive to throwing the ball.

Using my logic, I didn't say any coach was better than another coach. That's you putting words in my mouth. I'm talking about better seasons during a 3 period span. Using your logic, well using your logic is trying to create an argument that doesn't exist..

Then what's this nonsense about JG being better than Reid because JG had one good season where he won the division and a playoff game?

Why are you ignoring the fact that Reid has a overall better record and took them to the playoffs multiple times he has been the HC at KC?

It's funny because several years ago he was talking about the Patriots and how they never let go of the gas and are always trying to put up points no matter the point in the game and how he wanted his team to be like them. What he says and what he does are completely inconsistent.

The only way JG and BB are alike are their ridiculous say nothing to the media press conferences. And no I don't think Belichick should get a pass on answering questions because he wins. It's part of his job. But JG has no excuses for his inane gatherings. He's won nothing.

I will be back after I take my shower. I feel very dirty routing against Dallas for the first time in over 40 years for a draft pick.

don't tell me you were rooting for us to win the year before Aikman came out?

No he hasn't. As I said, he missed the playoffs 1 of those years and has no division titles or playoffs wins and his 1 playoff appearance he blew a 28 point lead. That's not better.

Andy Reid - 30-17, two playoff appearances (including this year). Quarterback: Alex Smith.
Main Divisional Competition: Peyton Manning, arguably the greatest quarterback in the game whose team advanced to the Super Bowl.
Notable achievement: Leading a team left for dead to eight straight wins.

Jason Garrett - 24-23, one playoff appearance, one playoff victory (thanks to the refs). Quarterback: Tony Romo. Main Divisional Competition: The up and down Other Manning (Eli). Notable achievement: Keeping team engaged by clapping.

So it's your contention that merely by having a playoff victory more than Reid makes Garrett a better coach than Reid?
And is it your contention that despite the caliber of quarterback behind center, that a team should win the division? :D

So does clock and game mgmt. Garrett is usually good for a couple losses a year on that alone. Even his daddy's friend/owner said that with the learning on the job comment.

Jerry on Jason: "We’ve put a lot of effort into training Jason Garrett. I want to take advantage of that. If we don’t have him, we don’t get payback for all the miscues and losses and criticism of sideline management. You don’t get a chance to benefit from the one way you learn - and that is the mistakes you make. So i want to have him around. "

You people who are rooting for the higher pick...you're also the same people who don't believe that Jerry and Co knows what they're doing. So what good does that higher pick do, exactly?

Tightens up the margin for error and improves the chances of landing better talent. It appears they're gonna have to out talent every team if they want to win in this league

Ummm What?

NFCE QBS: Bradford, Eli, Cousins, Moore/Cassel/Weeden/Romo

AFCS QBS: Mettenberger/Hasselbeck/Weeden/Bortles

So what's your point? I don't see that much difference. Eli and Cousins are mediocre and the others are awful. Hasselbeck and Bortles are mediocre and Mettenberger is still better than anything we have.

And that's not even taking his time in Philly into account, where he won 6 division titles, went to 5 NFC Championship games and a Superbowl.

Yeah, he has never gotten over the hump and won a title, but to even remotely compare Garrett's career to Reid at this point is laughable.
