Probably. The only coach to ever lose 10 straight was fired, and he was Tom Landry. I can't imagine Garrett surviving that.

i think we can easily lose next week vs miami
despite romo. and panthers is a loss. 9 straight?
whos after that?

LOL. Pittsburgh blows out Cleveland with a backup.

Again, you Garrett homers, explain to me how 0-7 is acceptable?

If the Jones family had balls and common sense, they'd fired Garrett tomorrow.

The backup went out and they won with the starter back in. Not defending Garrett but in your haste to rip Garrett Homers... You must have not seen any of the steelers game.

It doesn't matter how many games we lose. Garrett's job is safe this season. Cry about it all you want but these are the facts.

I don't know. I look at it like this. Our 7 losses have been the result of either the offense not playing well enough to win or the defense not playing well enough to win. I won't include the Patriots game because they do that to every team. In the 2 games Weeden played (not including the Patriots), the offense played well enough to win and the defense was awful. Sure, the offense fell asleep in the 2nd half against Atlanta, but the defense also got torn to pieces. In the 4 games Cassel played, the offense lost us 2 of those games (Seattle and Tampa).

That's the thing that's been frustrating. It hasn't just been QB play. ST, drops by WRs, lack of takeaways, pick-6s. It's not stuff that getting Romo back necessarily just fixes.

It's been really frustrating, for sure.

Garret's a great conman. That's all he's great at. He conned his way up to the top coaching position in the game with nothing but an English degree from an Ivy League school and its reputation without any coaching pedigree, to the tune of multimillions of dollars because he's in the owner's family portrait.

For this, and only this, can I clap for him...and cry at the same time.

The sad part is this coaching staff couldn't figure out how to win ONE game facing adversity. If I'm the FO I really have to consider this.
Romo isn't getting younger and isn't staying healthy.

steelers keep switching QBs and managed to put 3 wins while doing that and for 8 weeks the whole worlds keeps telling us "romo is coming .. Romo is coming"

In today's NFL, you can stumble your way into 2-3 wins with a backup QB. Teams find ways to lose, Tampa Bay didn't win today - the Cowboys lost. Same thing I've said for 4 or 5 of these awful games without 9 under center.

You are a special kind of slow, aren't you?

I'm not using it an excuse. When Romo went down, I said I would be pleasantly surprised if we won a game without him. We didn't. The talent on this team is incredibly overrated. Romo covers up for so much, including the coaching staff.

I'm not using it as an excuse.

I'm merely not surprised at the results.

Now run along... You are going to be late for the short bus.

Wow. How old are you?

Well if it means we get an elite player at the top of the draft maybe it's a blessing in disguise we lost today. This team sucks and it's not going to be our year.

We didn't look that great with Romo. Should've lost the first Giants game and it took a boneheaded decision by Eli and a miracle drive by Romo to pull out the win. And the offense didn't look that great against Philly but the defense had a once in a decade performance.

I was unable to watch the game today but the score and this thread tells me everything I need to know. Romo is truly miracle worker, who makes a team this bad go 12-4 last season.

I honestly think the only guy that could fix this is Bill Parcells.

From 12-4 4o 4-12?

Lose: Panthers, Skins once, Packers, Jets, Bills?

4th or 5th pick in draft??

That's pretty much how I see it, although the Packers/Jets games may be interchangeable. We may beat the Pack and lose to the Jets, or vice versa.

The key here is we play the Pack and Bills away, up North, in December. Weather starts to play a factor.

Regardless, I don't see Romo running the tables.
