Defense only gave up 20 points. An offense should win most games when this happens. Blame is on the offense for this one.

I noticed something on replays…It seems had Romo ran for first down on that last play we would have got 1st down….Healthy Romo would definitely do it…just something I noticed

I think this one is on the offense plain and simple. They fumbled the ball twice, Romo was awful and Linehan was no better. They just looked flat today all around.

To me the true test is the next 2 games. You lose a game like this after a long winning streak. Now what do you do to answer? Do you continue to slide or get back to winning again? That is what this team faces now. How do you respond. Good teams as we now respond strongly and win, fake pretenders let this loss affect them and continue to lose. We'll see what we are made of on Sunday.

Damn those Seahawks for us playing them on the road

More often than not you are going to lose on the road and the Cowboys have the majority of games left on road.

1) Its one game, we are 6-2, win against Arizona and all is well.
2) Romo had no business coming back into that game, he was bad before the injury, terrible after, I woudn't mind him sitting for the next 2 games (three weeks) I think it would be better for the long run, that would likely put us at 7-3 after the bye and I would be fine with that with a healthy(er) Romo (obviously this wont happen)
3) Weeden looked surprisingly strong and I would feel comfortable with him taking the reigns for a couple games, but he should be publicly shamed for checking out of the running play on the goal line I mean, seriously how stupid, and stupid can not be emphasized enough.
4) Murray stepped up, Oline stepped up, Witten stepped up after Romo injury, Dez did not
5) Most blaring was the terrible offensive play calling all night long, looked like circa 2013 Garrett to me, forgetting the run, no adjustments, no thought, utterly pathetic. Would really like to never see that again, matter of fact I thought this team and staff had outgrown it, guess we haven't
6) I typically don't care what coaches or players so in the media, but I sure would feel much more comfortable with this team if Linehan or Garrett would come out and admit they did a terrible job, because for the past 4 years this coaching staff seemed ignorant to their ignorance, i sure hope thats not back
7) I wonder too if Romo and Weeden were not checking out of a lot of run plays...
8) Good to see Jerry back on the sideline
9) Good to see Jerry does not care whether the whole world knows he is whispering into his coaches ears during the game
10) Seriously though, good job jerry on this offensive line and roster.

6-2 is fine, it was an ugly game and hopefully the players and staff learn from some very serious and stupid mistakes, if they do, and if they remember it down the stretch this loss will serve a good purpose and be worth it.

Romo has been doing good all year long. But Washington (I refuse to call them by their nick name) they had nothing to lose and went into an all out blitz look and Romo was just confused all night long. Meanwhile, Weeden came in and had no problems with it. Strange.

Well, I have stop commenting on Romo for a while now. He is what he is AND he is definitely one tough cookie, but I really wish he and Garrett were not BFFs. He had no damn business coming back in the game. As far as Garrett? No comment...and not because they lost today.

We know that Weedon can come in and play well which is what I thought he could do. The thing with Weedon is you don't want him playing for a long period of time. A half, a couple of series, a game or two fine but anything longer than that and you will probably see Weedon from Cleveland come into player.

6-2 is fine but if we end up losing 2 out of 3 games next , we will end up 7-4. Last time we started 7-4 (2011), we ended up only winning one more game.

If it very possible that we lose to the Cards, beat the Jags, then lose to the Giants in NY.

Well they actually did make a few stops, obviously did give up the field goal in OT but the Washington made a couple of nice grabs and calls to get them in range. The defense buckled down on the final drive of regulation to force a punt.

He was completely out of sorts after returning. Probably in extreme pain physically which makes it difficult to function mentally.

I think if the field position had been better, he may have. We had absolutely horrible field position tonight.

We started only one drive outside our own 22 and four inside our 20. With only 11 possessions and terrible field position, the 17 points we scored is actually better (by 3.03 points) than what an average NFL offense would have scored -- even with the two fumbles.
