Cowboys vs Eagles ***Official Game Thread***

Considering how pathetic the Cowboys played in the 1st half, they are lucky to be only down a TD. They were pretty much dominated. If the run offense and the run defense don't pick it up, it won't stay close.

The Cowboys have 12 carries for 9 yards in the 1st half.

The Eagles have 20 carries for 89 yards in the 1st half.

The Cowboys offense basically consisted on one great play. The Price catch went 58 yards and on the other 22 plays the Cowboys ran in the 1st half, they totaled 44 yards.

I have said it before and I will say it again, other than Bledsoe's horrible play so far what kills Dallas offense is a pathetic rushing game.

No team runs the ball more than Dallas, but one problem we are nearly dead last in yards per carry.

Only 5 teams have a yards per carry worse than 3.5, but of course at the rate we run the ball it hurts us a little worse.

That has to be fixed.

Why does this resemble every freaking Monday night game? They need to get their heads out of the butts!

We get the bsll to start the 2nd half. This will be a very important drive for us. I rather have TT run it back fora TD to start.

A lot has changed since the season started.

We are playing a wounded team that was doubting itself and we let them come out and kick our arse all over the field. It is just disappointing.

My feelings about the inadequacy of our OL go back to the start of the season. For all the accolades they've drawn, Bledsoe was amongst the league leaders in sacks and we have one of the poorest rushing averages in the league.

there's just no way this team goes very far with the lack of experience/talent at offensive tackle. It seriously limits them in the passing attack and what they can do. We may make the playoffs, maybe, but that's it... work on the OL in the offseason

we're still in this guys.

Dont lose your heads just yet

I haven't seen anything that a bye week has provided this team.
They seem sluggish, that is the opposite of what I thought a week off would do.

One disturbing stat is they're winning the trench war...they've already run almost 100 yards versus our measely 10. One turnover is the difference thus far.

The problem is the overrated and overpaid OL - they are a very weak bunch.

Get Julius more carries. If we win this game we're in amazing shape. Theres no sense in trying to keep him healthy for the "playoff run" when a game like this is exactly the type of game we have to win. Barber looks like crap today too. Somebody probably should have remembered that his "breakout game" was against the freaking Cardinals.

We gotta cause a big defensive play that leads to an extra touchdown like they did

We put up 7 by max protecting and throwing the ball down field which opened up the run.....

Every series after we play it safe and try to force the run?

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE GAMEPLAN.

BIG PROBLEM WITH EXECUTION!!

The OL will need to be rebuilt just as the DL needed to be rebuilt.

I think the first step when it comes to OL play is finding yourself a top-notch coach - Sprano needs to go.

be the prime reason we win a game. Stay Tune, we need it tonight.

A little Gruden attitude is needed tonight.

CALL A LONG PASS PLAY ONCE - 58 yard execution!!!

CALL RUNNING PLAYS OVER AND OVER AND OVER WHEN YOU SEE IT'S NOT WORKING - 9 YARDS TOTAL FREAKIN RUSHING!!!!

The problem is we don't see anything that they could hang their hat on.... The defense isn't getting to McNabb and they're running the ball pretty strongly against Dallas. On the offensive side, they can't rush the ball effective and they squandered away those first few possessions where they could've taken advantage of their pass protection to open the field a bit and THEN use that to open up their running game... But now we saw that the pass protection is losing it. So where does that leave them? Unless the o-line shores up, I don't see them putting any drives together.
