Game Day ***Cowboys vs Eagles post game thread***

I agree. When he threw the ball I screamed "NO!" before I saw the defender break on the ball. When I played DBack (100 years ago) I loved when the QB would do that. I baited the QB to throw the ball there. I got more than a few INTs over the years.

Yep, told the wife..there goes a pick 6...doink.

You know this team will end up 8-8. They don't know how to win and they don't know how to lose. All they know its average.

What this team needs is strong leadership. I think they truly lost confidence when Romo went down and they are lost in a funk. I was hoping hardy might fill the void but apparently not. You have to have a jimmy Johnson or bill parcells type to change the culture.

This team needs TALENT. Both coaching and players. They are top heavy with players. That is to say they go from great-elite to bad in a hurry (due to injury). Coaching? Well, now we know...

I'm sorry, but I cannot see this team winning even one game with Cassel. I put the blame on Jerry Jones. Cassel has a noodle arm.

Except for the horrid pick six, Cassel played well. He threw for 299 yards and 3 TDs (really 4 if not for the ticky tack offensive interference call on T-Will). That was the best our offense can do under Cassel and it should've been a win. Yeah, this time I blame the defense.

It's not just the Cowboys he does this to. That is his philosophy. When it works the defense gets tired quickly. That's what makes him a "genius".

Actually, he normally goes away from the run and they were clearly trying to pass before then. He made the adjustment and kept on coming. Out DL was chases left and right all game.

And that pass over the middle, he kept going to. Then we lost Lee and he attacked on that flare route.

He abused us.

Well, in reality, we are coming to the end of an era. A disappointing era that's had a few bright spots here and there. We won't get a full reset till Tony is gone, but the end is neigh! I'm not looking forward to the "rebuilding" years. :(

I really hope I'm wrong and we come back next year with a vengeance!

I actually am looking forward to the 'rebuilding' years. Rebuilding the proper way through the draft. As much as I love Tony, we lucked into 10+ years with him or he lucked into us. Therefore we built our team around him for those 10+ years to try to win something now in whatever years we had with home. Now you draft a QB and you start to build around that QB from scratch. That's why I'm looked forward to rebuilding. Rebuilding doesn't take long in the NFL anymore.

I think a lot of you want to blame the coaching staff because you all just don't want to acknowledge that a lot of these players just aren't that good. It's easier to say, yoo it's the clowns on the sideline rather than admit the roster still needs some work, and that we have no depth. Blaming the coachin staff gives you all hope that this is still a super bowl contending roster.

With Garrett, rebuilding takes a while. He's had Romo for 5 years and only one winning season

How the **** is this not a push off?

That's as blatant as they come. Every week it's something. Every week the refs find a way to screw the Cowboys over. EVERY WEEK.

What did we do? Why are we getting this treatment?

It's beyond ridiculous. Was screwing us out of a Super Bowl not enough? **** you Blandino.

I hope you're right. I can't handle another 15 years of mediocrity! :banghead:

The defense has become a full unit of Almost Anthony's.

I counted a number of plays — including the last one — where it seemed the DL was one step away from clocking Bradford, but of course, they didn't get there.

This team hates me.

Play for Goff!

Maybe the Cowboys are not under achieving this year, but right where they really are, and maybe last year was an anomaly. I mean last year most people thought a 6 win season would be optimistic and they exceeded all expectations. They might have crashed back down to reality.
