Game Day ***Cowboys vs Eagles post game thread***

Maybe the Cowboys are not under achieving this year, but right where they're really are, and maybe last year was an anomaly. I mean last year most people thought a 6 win season would be optimistic and they excited all expectations. They might have crashed back down to reality.

There were a lot of games last year that could've easily gone the other way.

What pisses me off the most, is whenever any team we have played over the past 5-10 years is without their star player, QB, OL, CB, etc, it doesn't matter who it is, their backup comes in and pays like a pro bowler. Yet, when our star players are out, our backups play like backups. this has been happening for as long as Garrett has been with the team and I don't think it's a coincidence. Garrett has proven he doesn't have the faintest clue on how to exploit another teams weakness. All he knows to do is play conservative and hope for a win. All these years of people complaining about Romo audibling out if plays, it is more than evident now that he more often than not put the team at a much greater level opportunity to succeed. although i know it won't happen, i think Garrett needs to go now.

Just watched some of these highlights Lowlights...and for the love of gawd.....Our DEs have no idea what the word containment means. We give up the corner easier than any team in the league.

Yep, and this year they've been on the other end of it. There were a few games last year the Cowboys had no real reason winning and yet they found a way. This year it seems there are games they shouldn't be losing and have found ways to lose them.

They fail to set the edge or they simply get blocked to the inside.

I think this is a very good point.

Except for the horrid pick six, Cassel played well. He threw for 299 yards and 3 TDs (really 4 if not for the ticky tack offensive interference call on T-Will). That was the best our offense can do under Cassel and it should've been a win. Yeah, this time I blame the defense.

Don't waste your time he is a WeDone Fanboy troll

You can't say that when your star qb was 2-0 and backups are 0-6

The game, the team is totally different with Romo under center.

Anyways.... Still mathematically in it... Lol

Just watch, Romo come back, no pressure no exceptation they just play well enough to screw up the draft.

I wil say this. We are losing the battles, that's for sure, but I don't want to lose the war also. Give me something to be excited about next season. Just sayin'.
