Game Day ***Cowboys vs Eagles post game thread***

Thing that pisses me off the most about this final play is Wilcox taking a bad angle and missing the tackle. He takes bad angles and does not live up to the name "safety."

Wilcox and Church need to be replaced.

How's it unfair? He said you knew "the Cowboys" would fold. Not the defense, not the offense. I knew we'd lose after we tied the game and forced overtime. When the offense plays well enough to win, the defense blows it. When the defense plays well enough to win, the offense blows it. When they both play well, special teams blows it.

For a guy who always talks about 3 phases, we haven't had many games where all 3 played well during the JG era.

only dallas really thought he was a safety everyone else figured it out

What this team needs is strong leadership. I think they truly lost confidence when Romo went down and they are lost in a funk. I was hoping hardy might fill the void but apparently not. You have to have a jimmy Johnson or bill parcells type to change the culture.

If he cared we wouldn't have one of the worst coaches in the NFL on the sideline. This guy would be gone in any other city.

Not true. He believes in Jason Garrett. We may not agree with him but there is no reason why Jerry Jones is calling a undrafted player like Lael Collins at midnight and bringing him to his house for dinner with his mother if he didn't care. The man wants to win and cares about his people.

He is loyal to a fault possibly. But he cares.

Is anyone else beaten down by this franchise as a whole. I'm not just talking about this year but just the franchise as a whole for the last 10-15. It's like I don't have any feeling about this franchise anymore. I'm not mad or upset or anything just numb. I love Romo and Witten but man I am just ready to see some new players, coaches, everything to just start over with this franchise. I feel like everything about this team has run it's course. Like keeping expired milk in the refrigerator hoping it will get good again. I don't know anyone else feel this way.

Well, in reality, we are coming to the end of an era. A disappointing era that's had a few bright spots here and there. We won't get a full reset till Tony is gone, but the end is neigh! I'm not looking forward to the "rebuilding" years. :(

I really hope I'm wrong and we come back next year with a vengeance!

about the only thing i wont argue. Spot on.

And hire a real GM.

That would be priority number 1, but we know that ain't happening. There's no accountability at the crucial levels of this organization and therefore we'll always be finding new scapegoats and wondering why the team is never improving.

Why do we keep throwing that pick-6 route? We have been burned on that over and over. If things don't go just right there is no one between the defender and the goal.

I agree. When he threw the ball I screamed "NO!" before I saw the defender break on the ball. When I played DBack (100 years ago) I loved when the QB would do that. I baited the QB to throw the ball there. I got more than a few INTs over the years.

Do you seriously believe this crap?
Jerry already has a 3 billion dollar business. He is on the wrong side of old. He has more money than he could even care about at this point.

Jerry wants to win a million times more than you want them to win.
Stop trying to convince yourself that Jerry doesn't care. He cares more than any owner in the league.

I agree about his desire to win; however.....I think he has a character flaw which prevents him from realizing his goal...

The D appeared to have never recovered after Sean Lee went out. The impact was immediate.

I would seem to me that the Cowboys should try to find someone more dependable than Sean Lee, but I guess that's out of the question.

Oh let's get real......we got unbelievably lucky to just get to OT.....That Dez Hailmary was just unreal....Should have never been thrown or completed. Probably the most unlikely play to happen. If you ran it 100 times you probably complete that 3 or 4 times the most.

Eli made a career out of the exact same plays. Hell, even won a SB.

Kelly abused us.. Like I said, after that first TD drive he saw something... He kept attacking the edges, had the defense line running left and right, every other play.. Wore is out trying to get to the RBs on the edges..

It's not just the Cowboys he does this to. That is his philosophy. When it works the defense gets tired quickly. That's what makes him a "genius".
