I'm not watching, but I'm guessing they aren't running 7 step drops with no help against Von Miller.

And they are running out of 3 wide sets, so the line and TE doesn't have to block 8 guys every running play.

3 step drops, slants, occasional deep ball, fb looking guys running up the middle for first downs....its like a symphony.

It should be pointed out that without Lee and with Zeke Dallas lost 2 out of 2 this year. Even with Zeke in the side, without Lee and Smith Dallas are going to get spanked. Zeke is a small part of the system, and Dallas has a decent running game without him. In fact if his contract is too much in the future I'd rather they cut him and improve the defence and O-line, those are much more important than a world-beating running back. Zeke is a luxury, there's more important things to focus on as today showed.

This team has no heart whatsoever. The moment they get punched in the mouth...they fold. Not only fold...but crawl up into a little ball and cry.
You kind of get the impression if Garrett were to ever get into a real fight...he's do the same.

This team will never win w/ Garrett. And now it won't win because we have an owner that has ticked off the league. It's like playing 2 teams every Sunday...the opponent.and the officials...oh the flag fests.

Funny how we make plays...they get called back...fake punt to Butler was huge..Yet he have gone what is it now...5 and a half games w/o an offensive holding call against an offense line?

How about their FB stacked gameplan Bill came up with early in the season? He devised it over that week, was a thing of beauty. Imagine that, create a scheme on the fly because he knew the right players were not there for his normal gameplan.......

Morris 11 rushes 48 yards, Smith 3 rushes 14 yards, Prescott 6 rushes 42 yards - Cowboys 21 rushes 107 yards. Everyone bar McFadden averaged over 4 yards an attempt which is fine. The absence of Smith and Lee hurt the Cowboys, not Zeke

Aside from glass Lee getting injured again, you just typed out a major problem. 15 rushing attempts and abandoning the run is what led to Dak getting ransacked. If your LT is playing that bad, run the ball more to alleviate that negative. Instead, Linehan wants to pass more........

I am absolutely incredulous.

In all my years of watching football i don't think i've ever seen a staff allow a player, and a team, to be embarrassed in that fashion.

For 50 years teams in similar situations have left backs into block or had them chip the DE before going out on a route, or lined up a TE on that side.

To leave an over matched player isolated like that is simply unbelievable. Do they not have any formation that allows for a TE to be lined up outside the LT? If not, couldn't they have made one up?!

Damn even with the game out of hand they still had the tackle lined up on an island, i mean, no joke, i don't think i have ever seen that. Their QB was getting blindsided with the game completely over, no help whatsoever, no TE, hell not even another lineman lined up like a TE.

I simply cannot believe what i just watched, what was it 8 sacks from that one position alone?

I still can't get over this, this is no longer pro or anti Garrett, this is flat out football incompetence at the highest level.

I don't know whether to be be pissed off, embarrassed, or amused.

None of which i want to be when it's my favorite sports team as the subject.

The Garrett jock ridders, all three of them left on this board, will be along shortly to lecture all of us on how none of this is his fault and how lucky we are to have him and that Landry didn't do jack starting out in 1960 and this is exactly the same situation.

It was 6 and by a hack at DE. Claiborn is as average as they come.
