Not one single OL starter played a down today, and two of the starters today likely won’t even make the roster (or ANY NFL roster for that matter).

Some of you are either so entrenched in the narrative about this franchise that you don’t care how absurd you sound anymore, or you are certifiably insane.
:hammer: ......This team is in trouble offensively.....It's like an on coming train.....And you can't get off the track. Seriously don't trust McCarthy calling pays either. You can't tell me the guy isn't hiding a menu in that playbook.

Some observations of mine:

-Clark/Overshown looked good
-Ferguson had some nice catches, think They will keep 4 TE’s
-Duece was as good as advertised. Tolbert had some nice flashes .
-Gallimore/Golston playing in the 4th quarter tells me both are in the bubble, same can be said about Cox,Bell. Hard decisions forthcoming.
Cox is the only mike type backer of those backups and he's a coverage guy, I think they needed him out there. Bell was out there late but so was Thomas & Mukuamu, the guys he's fighting for a backup safety role.

Man I don’t get the hate for Aubrey. It was his first game. I’m sure he was insanely nervous. When his operation is smooth, there’s no hook or slice or anything. Besides the shank, everything was clean and down the middle. Kickoff power was something everyone was worried about. Worried now? I’m not. Let the guy keep playing.

NOBODY has OL depth in the NFL anymore. Most teams can’t even field 5 quality starters like we can, let alone many quality backups.

The deepest OL in football goes 7 deep with guys actually deserving of an NFL regular season snap. Many rosters don’t even have 5 such guys. Any team with more than 1 OL starter out for a majority of the season is always very unlikely to make the playoffs.

Not a good time for your best OLmen to holdout .

Probably true but Jacksonville's backups were markedly better than ours. They backup QB's also looked better to me so maybe that was part of it also. I'd like to get one or two "decent" backup swing players on the OL. Even one would excite me at this point. Everyone knows Tyron is going down at some point.

Can't miss extra points. That's a killer. He might get one more chance, if he misses another one he is toast.

He certainly has a shot. He has the leg. Kickoffs were good. He just hit one extra point bad.

Nervous kickers make me nervous.

Seems like the Mazi reviews are all over the map here. LOL.
To be honest. Unless somebody actually made it a point to watch him and focus on him every play. You wouldn’t be able to give a proper evaluation.

His performance won’t show on the stat sheet or with many splash plays.

He could play incredibly well and never have his name called.

That’s because many people don’t really know what they’re seeing at DT and their expectations are way too high for a rookie NT in his first preseason game.

If I were you, I’d find a way to watch the game and form my own opinions on how Mazi did. You’ll be much better off than asking people on here.

Not true. Our backups started the game. They held Jax to nothing on the first two drives. If it weren't for Turpin's fumble, who knows if their starting offense does anything against our second string defense. Rush was moving the ball on the third drive. We were getting ready to tie the game if it weren't for a fumble by Dowdle.

We went deeper into our lineup than they did.
