Game Day ***Cowboys vs Lions Post Game thread***

that is right rayman....forcing that 2 pt play to me was sheer stupidity....but dont think Campbell cares first time lions in playoffs in many years
Then fans want to have MMs head because we didn't run the clock. It was risky. He trusted his team. He will have 12 wins for us after we win next week. Which is almost unheard of in the NFL.Thats 3 years in a row. Hard to do. We should be thanking Jerry for hiring the man. I like him.

Yeah they’re really talking about it. I’m confused as to what happened and I wish they would focus on what happened. Did 2 people report? Did the ref not hear Decker? Was it still a legal play if he did report, Ala illegal formation?

We did catch a break tho. If I was a Lions fan I’d be pretty angry, unless I heard clarification about the play.

Skipper reported Decker did not . On the replay it clearly shows # 70 Skipper reports to the refs Decker did no such thing caught the conversion thus it’s “ illegal touching “ . Bye Detroit have a nice flight .

But it's never good to have a loss, on the road, to a conference team with (albeit slim) chance for the no. 1 seed.

Not the time to take chances. if there's zero chance of a better seed, sure, do weird things and see what works, but that wasn't Detroit's position tonight...
Maybe, but I just think Campbell would have played it differently if this game meant Detroit wouldn't win its division or meant the Lions wouldn't make the playoffs. As is, they have a home game in the first round no matter what. If his gamble pays off, then they have a shot at more home games. It was a calculated risk based on no much to lose IMO.

I dont have a problem with it. It’s rewarding a defense that made a great play. Offense already has a lot of advantages in this game.
The defense can be rewarded just for the offense losing control without being touched by the defense.

Ball goes to point of last possession.

Just flush that turd already. Wasted roster spot. No other way to say it.

Thanks for your opinion...
Its not an opinion. It's a fact.

The defense played soft and let them go right down the field. Time was not a factor by the time they got to the 10 yard line and scored a touchdown. They had plenty of time.

Yeah I agree. He coached this game like he didn’t worry about the ramifications of losing.

They never even gave him a shot, looked pretty shifty to me on that screen

He's pretty good, no coach is perfect. Landry's teams lost 3 of 5 Super Bowls. HOF is full of coaches who lost Super Bowls.

we'd like better game decisions, but overall, I'll roll with him for now...

He also had a nice 10yd run after the catch, i mean he was a low pick in the draft, not like hes gonna be crazy out there
