Did we play tight tonight with all the Jimmy hooplah and legends in the building?

I second.

It's such a weird rule. If it goes out a foot before the goal line, it's your ball at the spot.
If it goes out a foot after the goal line, it's their ball at the 20.

Spot the ball at the last point it was possessed. Should do that whether before or after the goal line.
I’m torn. The defender makes the good play; the offensive player makes the bad play by not protecting the ball. Why change the rule to reward the player who fumbled instead of rewarding the player who made the great play?

It doesn't appear that they're ready based on the last 3 weeks. It's nuts, but this game may help Detroit going forward more than the Cowboys.
Then wouldn’t last will help us?

Detroit has a lot of the right pieces except at QB.

I think he's saying we've already locked up the No. 3 seed so we can take some chances.
But it's never good to have a loss, on the road, to a conference team with (albeit slim) chance for the no. 1 seed.

Not the time to take chances. if there's zero chance of a better seed, sure, do weird things and see what works, but that wasn't Detroit's position tonight...

They act as if the Lions should have won this game and even go beyond the 2pt conversion call. They said the Lions should feel better than us overall and cite other aspects of the game and pretty much insinuate that they controlled the game.

They conveniently leave out the fumble out of the end zone by Lamb. That was just as big of a fluke than anything. We score there and go up 14-3 and that is a totally different ballgame.

Comical these people get paid to run the garbage out of their mouths they run.

Of course it was, because it was against the opponents. It's amazing how accurate the refs are when they make calls against the other teams.

But when it is against Dallas they're either blind, corrupt, or both.

A call went our way. It's okay to accept that.
No. Even the booth ref said it's a easy call. Why are we even turning a nice half d fought win into a weird debate? All coaches take calculated risks and Campbell got burned. Instead of kicking it

Campbell just said in post game that two players can’t both report as eligible. 70 reported first so 68 couldn’t report.

Clear enough now but I don’t know if many people think of that.
Kwyn---you think Campbell forcing the 2 pt play lost it for them?....i mean tie it up and play OT verses forcing the

2 pt play but i think Campbell realized they can lose their 3 seed so he did not care???

Mike McCarthy's decision to call a pass play on 2nd down, especially considering the Lions had only one timeout left, was a tactical misstep. In that situation, a running play would have been more prudent, potentially shaving off an additional 45 seconds from the clock. Essentially, the game could have concluded within two snaps. This incident underscores a recurring issue with McCarthy's clock management skills. It's not the first time this year that such decisions have nearly cost us a game. It's imperative for McCarthy to address and address his clock managements shortcomings. Just a terrible call along with Dan Quin playing prevent defense with the middle of the field wide open.
:hammer: .....Quinn should be grilled this week. Obviously losing a Super Bowl made no impression on him. Was more than happy to play prevent defense that last minute. We got beat....only having that official in our back pocket saved us.
