Let's be honest guys, Our Defense is not good enough to win a Super Bowl and we would've had our hands full against Atlanta's offense. Stephen Jones needs to spend big on the defense in free agency and we need to hit on some young guys in the draft.

I like our chances against ATL a hell of a lot more than I did against Green Bay. I thought that if we won today, we were going to the Super Bowl. Still believe that.

I hate to blame refs but they were bad in this game but they usually are. On a play like that 3rd and very long and the QB scrambling and able to make a play or even get a pass attempt you know that there has to be some kind of holding. I don't care how bad our defense is any QB that has that much time the defense is being held. It should have been called.

Someone send this to Skip Bayless so he can bring it up tomorrow. Lol

Butler should be back. Terrance Williams only if it's at minimum vet level. Free needs to go and quickly. Carr need to go as of right now, and Anthony Brown needs to know that " business decision " does not apply to 6th round draft pick. He better lose the Deion Sanders' " I'm not sticking my nose in that tackle " attitude quickly.

Terrence Williams has earned the 2 spot and deserves some money. Let's not mess up the formula....

I am proud of this team, we came out flat like I thought we would and got to far behind. Packers played the perfect game and made less mistakes give them credit, and Rogers was lights out. We never quit and came out in the second half giving it our all. Thank you boys for a great year, when it looked like a repeat of 2015 when Romo went down. Dak, Zeke thanks for the ride it was awesome!!!

GB was 100% better prepared and it cost us.

Marinelli didn't have a clue in the first half and those 21 points cost us the game.


Our roster is miles better than GBs and we lost to them because they have a great QB and good playcaller. That's how they beat us.

Yep...this should be a thread. We lost the game in the first qtr, but how much does Rod REALLY have to work with? Especially in that front 7? Be honest now....how much? I say not much. They SUCK.

And it starts with the head coach who is the most passive man in authority.

No accountability, no one is ever benched. No one is ever yelled at. No one is ever made to feel bad.

Exactly, another #1 seed wasted on inept coaching....

yeah and dont forget JG was OC for the last one in 2007, really he was offensive coach, totally independent of wade.
And another loss in Div round, lets face, when JG gets to Div round he just cant handle it.
This is loss # 3 for him in Div round

But hey lets give him 10 more years to get this clock mgmt and game mgmt, and game planning down and then
WE might make it past Div round.

Well that is the truth, Garrett is the Achilles heal here

I am not sold on Garrett either way. He is an "ok" coach. Same thing with Linehan (actually, Linehan can be bad at times). I always felt that. However, I will say he talks the talk more than he walks the walk.

Well, we average getting the number one seed once every 11 years..................so maybe 11 years from now we will have the same opportunity.

Unfortunately a hot finish by Mayowa may sell them on there dumpster diving policy. But where was he today

I think old Jerry may show up again in free agency, 2007 hurt him and now he has 2017 as a repeat of the same.

He may not be alive to see another unless he gets aggressive, just a bit!

Even with poor coaching this defense is hot garbage against elite QB's.

We will not win anything until we field a defense that can both rush and cover, two things we obviously could not do today consistently.

Defense sucks. Full stop. This team doesn't advance without a pass rush. While the offense is pretty good, it's not good enough to prevail in a shootout.
