Butler should be back. Terrance Williams only if it's at minimum vet level. Free needs to go and quickly. Carr need to go as of right now, and Anthony Brown needs to know that " business decision " does not apply to 6th round draft pick. He better lose the Deion Sanders' " I'm not sticking my nose in that tackle " attitude quickly.
Brice solidified he is expendable......I'd wait to catch him and Sanchez together to eliminate saying "Bring ya playbook" twice.

Let's be honest guys, Our Defense is not good enough to win a Super Bowl and we would've had our hands full against Atlanta's offense. Stephen Jones needs to spend big on the defense in free agency and we need to hit on some young guys in the draft.

I've posted this a few times. I mean, it's no mystery...our D is very average at BEST. Simply not a playoff D in any way, shape or form.

I like our chances against ATL a hell of a lot more than I did against Green Bay. I thought that if we won today, we were going to the Super Bowl. Still believe that.
the only thing I believe is that this team sickens me and the defense are epic failures.

Ya know In the last 5-8 years the one constant with the mediocracy is the coaches. And I know the players so oh man the coaches are great but they aren't changing anything. Coaching cost us a lot this game. Just like it always does

I don't get how "going into the huddle" and leaving is an unsportsmanlike penalty and is worthy of a 15 yard hit.

I mean, really? 15 yards for that? Same penalty as a fight or taunting? Crazy

yeah and dont forget JG was OC for the last one in 2007, really he was offensive coach, totally independent of wade.
And another loss in Div round, lets face, when JG gets to Div round he just cant handle it.
This is loss # 3 for him in Div round

But hey lets give him 10 more years to get this clock mgmt and game mgmt, and game planning down and then
WE might make it past Div round.

And by the time we fix the defense, the offense will suck again. Leary is already probably gone; we'll need another WR, Witten is an old man, etc.,etc. Dak and Zeke will be around a while, but you really can't waste these opportunities. At least win one freakin' playoff game when you have a #1 seed and HFA.

And it starts with the head coach who is the most passive man in authority.

No accountability, no one is ever benched. No one is ever yelled at. No one is ever made to feel bad.

He needs to be fired.

Just listened to his press conference...I don't even think he was depressed....sad...no accountability, nothing....I don't even think he blamed himself and he defended himself and his coaches for the SPIKING the ball Really!!! because that was a bonehead play.

In the playoffs it's hard to beat a team led by an elite quarterback with first-round talent when that guy is on top of his game.

Come on, Nav. You see it. You have been around far too long and been a solid fan and student of this game not to see this team needs a few pieces and they can dominate this league.
Lots of teams are "a few pieces" away. Hell, Green Bay has room to improve too. Their secondary was awful today and they still have a mediocre run game.

We won't be in a better position than having homefield advantage throughout, because there is no better position you can be in.

We blew it. Plain and simple. Just like we did in 2007.

I appreciate what you're trying to do but I can't be an optimist after a crushing loss like this. You know as well as I do that nothing in this great league is guaranteed.

We all felt great about the future in 2007 too, then we made the playoffs just once in the following next 6 years.

We all knew going into this season and especially this game that the defense was going to struggle. That was a give in. What is not a give in is your head coach and OC being incompetent.

Marinelli got more out of this defense than could ever be expected.

Yep....this D lacks play makers BIG time. And that's a GIVEN. (no such thing as 'give in' bro)

But they shouldn't have had too.. we have a dominant run game and we couldn't kill 52 seconds on the clock?! Defence got us back in the game after horrible start..

This is 100% on the coaches..

I won't absolve the defense, but we knew what we had coming into this game. Despite all those silly "We're the No. 1 ranked secondary blah, blah, blah" we were a seriously flawed defense, which was made better by our defense.
But there's a fundamental flaw in our coaching. Every year from Romo to Dak, we somehow want to put the pressure on the quarterback. We want to start abandoning the run when we get in the red zone and just pass the ball. We do this when we know our offensive line is better run blocking than pass blocking.
We did this with Romo. We do it with Dak. Three passes inside the red zone during a critical series in the first half where we get three and not seven is INEXCUSABLE!
And then, we seem to always make stupid mistakes when we get across the 50 yard line. A holding penalty here, a bonehead illegal motion there and we kill a seven-point scoring drive.

Also, we've got to start getting and playing smarter guys. Butler just killed us with his penalties and drops. The Patriots don't rely on dumb players. We need to correct this.

Well guys, they say it's a game if inches but it seems like rhe Cowboys always either win by mile but lose by an inch.

That's where coaching makes the difference. When you have a evenly matched team, few key coaching decision is the difference between a win or a loss.

I hate to blame refs but they were bad in this game but they usually are. On a play like that 3rd and very long and the QB scrambling and able to make a play or even get a pass attempt you know that there has to be some kind of holding. I don't care how bad our defense is any QB that has that much time the defense is being held. It should have been called.

They're were not going to call holding on Green Bay today... no matter what.

He panicked. That said, I TRULY believe that Rodgers would've tied it up even if we would have got a TD there. Our D just isn't near good enough and that was crystal clear tonight. They are very average at best. Can't win much with a bunch of JAGS.

Have they suddenly invented a four point play that I'm not aware of?

Green bay is in the NFC championship game and their defense is nothing to write home about.
