No pass for Romo from me and I've been a big backer of his. He talked big and backed it up with zero. His passes were awful and even worse he got out-thunk on almost every play he changed up on the field. The Panthers humiliated him.

Really disappointed with Tony he should have never come back and even so should have downplayed expectations. He cost us this game.

Now as for his career I blame Garrett and Co for that. Tony had so much talent and effort to work with and we never designed a good offense or defense for him to flourish.

It is just all sad and pathetic. I am done with this current generation of Dallas Cowboys.

No you're not

Today's Special Garrett Clap Award goes to his "gutsy" decision to kick a FG on 4th and 3 inside the red zone, down 20 points halfway through the third quarter. Carolina is dominating all day, Garrett's team is 3-7 playing for their season, but Garrett hands Carolina a moral victory and the ball back by settling to be down 3 scores (which he'd be anyway if they failed to make the 4th down).

What a gutless, brainless, ballsless excuse of a coach.

I don't think Romo can play these short weeks anymore. The last 2 seasons with injuries he's looked horrible on Thanksgiving. If it's starting to cost the team wins something needs to change

You need to learn some history. Callahan was HC of the Raiders when Gruden when to the SB. They played the Gruden coached Tampa Bay Bucs.

Man, you're making this too easy.

Gruden took the Raiders to the AFC Championship with Callahan as his OC and OL coach. Then, when Gruden bailed for TB Callahan took over as HC.

No they didn't. Stephen already said they were going Sharif Floyd and Jerry over-rules last minute. Callahan worked Frederik out.

It's Callahan's zone scheme. Prior to that they were drafting big, hefty lineman in a man-blocking scheme that Garrett spent his whole career playing under and coaching under.

We aren't talking about Callahan the HC.. Learn your history before you spew off nonsense. Callahan was the OC when Gruden went to the SB, was the OL coach when Sanchez went to the Playoffs three straight years and when he left, they sucked offensively and now with the Cowboys.

Um, professor, actually Callahan was the HC when Oakland went to the SB, where they lost to Gruden and TB.

Oh but they look sharp in suits! If you don't dress in a suit you're not the RKG. You'll be cut!

I'm just tired of a different excuse every year. Every ******* year it's a new excuse. Why is Romo getting a pass for playing like a ******? He sucked. He sucked bad. I'm sure Garrett will get another excuse for this season, and next year we'll be enduring the same bull**** with a different excuse.

I agree with you-- Tony played poorly, but we should have never went into this season with Weeden as the backup. We should have drafted a RB. We shouldn't have needed to rush him back so quickly because we had backups that couldn't win one game. Now that they are saying he was recovering from multiple fractures, it makes me even madder at this FO. And, you are correct. They will use these injuries as an excuse to keep Garrett.

I agree on the total career perspective. And dogging Tony for his play is fine. He was terrible mentally and physically today.

But to criticize him for coming back too soon? Any player wants to get back on the field as soon as possible even if they aren't completely healthy. It's the coaches and team doctors who should've held him out of he wasn't healed.

If he sat a couple extra weeks then fans would dog him for letting his team flounder when they are in a must-win situation.

Going into this week, we were 8th in the league in rushing. The Commanders are 25th. Callahan has plenty to keep him busy on his own end.

because there is no such thing as pass blocking.. They are also 4-6 and Cousins is throwing close to a 70% competition percentage, because he's getting plenty of time in the pocket.

There bad stretch was recently when they turned the ball over 7 times in a four game stretch. Two games ago they rushed for over 200 yards. They have 3 games over a hundred yards.

First year for Callahan, it's not bad and they've had injuries on their line.

He also played one of the best teams in the league. He said as much 2 games ago. You can't blame a guy for coming in and saying we aren't done yet. Romo has always given all he has and shouldn't be ragged on for being beat by a 10-0 team with a supporting cast that went 0-7 without him to mostly bad teams.

It makes me wonder how

If he had multiple fracture it is criminal to put him out there or at least make completely sure the game plan protects him

i feel like garrett will go with romo. jerry has married the two unfortunately. if garrett somehow outlasts romo, may god have mercy on all our souls.

He will outlast Romo. I don't know Romo has it in him to make it through even another season. That hit he got injured on today wasn't even hard. If you can't take that sack you can't play QB in the NFL anymore. Garrett will coach at least 2 more seasons. No way in the world is Jerry Jones gonna pay him to sit at home for years on end. I could see him maybe eating the last 2 years of his contract, but no more than that.
