Yes. But I'm just telling the truth. I might be blowing off a little steam because I'm frustrated. I had such high hopes. I thought this team was a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Definitely wrong on that. It is what is. I really do hope they have a good draft
I agree. Honestly he cannot QB fulltime anymore so really he needs to retire or go to a team for a last run that may know how to protect him.

Our vaunted O-line isn't up to that task.....

I think Romo should retire, but if he suffers a season ending injury next season then Dallas has to move on.

It's official. Romo's done for the season.

Seriously bro, the short bus is leaving the stall. Please get on it.

Stupidest thing, by far, posted today.

He broke his clavical eight weeks ago. He clearly wasn't ready to come back. He was completely healthy for most of last season and lit the league on fire.

Posts like this make me question how I get benched and this absolute rubbish is allowed to pass. Ridiculous.

Factual statement - Romo will have played 4 of 16 games this year. If that isn't part time I do not know what is.

He'll be 36 next year with every likelihood he'll get pounded in the pocket like he does every game on this poorly coached team.

I love Romo but last year was his pinnacle and BTW he wasn't fulltime then either.

I won't fault Tony for coming back too soon, but he doesn't get a pass for his poor performance. None of those throws were poor mechanically, they were bad reads.

What bothers me is how out of touch this coaching staff and front office is, with the state of this team. The fact they allowed Romo to come back when most of the world knew this team wasn't good enough. I am not saying tank, but the coaches and FO should understand the state of their roster and have dependable players and plans in place for these situations.

This coaching staff and front office are just out of touch.

Dallas needs to plan on drafting qbs in the next three drafts.

However, those in charge of the draft are the same people who wasted Romo with Garrett, so, good luck to that young man....

I don't know about anyone else but I'm rooting for a loss these next 5 weeks. Worst thing that could happen is Cassell strings together a few wins in garbage time.

You don't have to worry about that. The other teams we play have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. The Cowboys don't know how to play spoiler. When the going gets rough we kick FGs.

The team is a one man team. If Tony doesn't play well we have no chance. If Tony doesn't play we have no chance.

Don't think we have to worry about that. This team can't win when they are clawing and scratching to. What's going to happen when the real quit sets in? People can go on and on about THE FIGHT Garrett brings out in them, but football teams quit at a certain point.

How many sacks and/or hits had Romo taken prior to the one that re-fractured his collar bone? You may want to go back and look because the line was keeping him pretty clean. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Romo wasn't healed. Even if the bone itself was healed, there is no way the tissue around it was strong enough to support it in the event of another big hit.

I was only a paramedic, but every thing I learned about the human body all those years tells me he wasn't healthy. Therefore, pretty much everything you've said is moot. Particularly in light of Romo being one year removed from a historically good season.

Extending Garrett will haunt us for a few more years.

A competent owner would fire him this offseason. This franchise needs a new direction.

Garrett didn't let Murray walk, didn't injure Scandrick, T McClain, Claybourne, Romo, or Dez.
Garrett didn't let Callahan leave, nor did he sign the backup QBs, and not draft a WR or RB.

I'm definitely ready to move on to a different offense and play caller, but I don't think any GM fires Garrett after last season, thinking he underperformed with the cards he was dealt this season.
