Today's Special Garrett Clap Award goes to his "gutsy" decision to kick a FG on 4th and 3 inside the red zone, down 20 points halfway through the third quarter. Carolina is dominating all day, Garrett's team is 3-7 playing for their season, but Garrett hands Carolina a moral victory and the ball back by settling to be down 3 scores (which he'd be anyway if they failed to make the 4th down).

What a gutless, brainless, ballsless excuse of a coach.

I don't think Romo can play these short weeks anymore. The last 2 seasons with injuries he's looked horrible on Thanksgiving. If it's starting to cost the team wins something needs to change

I agree. Honestly he cannot QB fulltime anymore so really he needs to retire or go to a team for a last run that may know how to protect him.

because there is no such thing as pass blocking.. They are also 4-6 and Cousins is throwing close to a 70% competition percentage, because he's getting plenty of time in the pocket.

Spin it however you want. Just like always.

He will outlast Romo. I don't know Romo has it in him to make it through even another season. That hit he got injured on today wasn't even hard. If you can't take that sack you can't play QB in the NFL anymore. Garrett will coach at least 2 more seasons. No way in the world is Jerry Jones gonna pay him to sit at home for years on end. I could see him maybe eating the last 2 years of his contract, but no more than that.

Well if Romo doesn't play next season the Cowboys might end up 0-16. It would be hard to keep Garrett after that.

Romo said himself that it feels just like him breaking the collarbone the other two times. I'm sure he knows what it feels like, so I don't know why there's all of the pretense that he's not done.

Um, professor, actually Callahan was the HC when Oakland went to the SB, where they lost to Gruden and TB.

He wasn't far off. Callahan was the OC and OL coach when Gruden took the Raiders to the AFC championship. He was also the mastermind behind those Jets teams that ran all over everybody. He's bombed as a head coach everywhere, but the guy might be the best offensive line coach ever. His ability to plug players into his zone blocking scheme is all the resume he needs. He isn't the sole reason this line isn't blocking as well, but his understanding of the zone scheme is sorely missed as neither Linehan OR Garrett ever had zone blocking before their current positions.

I agree on the total career perspective. And dogging Tony for his play is fine. He was terrible mentally and physically today.

But to criticize him for coming back too soon? Any player wants to get back on the field as soon as possible even if they aren't completely healthy. It's the coaches and team doctors who should've held him out of he wasn't healed.

If he sat a couple extra weeks then fans would dog him for letting his team flounder when they are in a must-win situation.

Maybe Tony could have sat a few more weeks if the red-headed idiot could actually coach a team to win two games without him. Pathetic.

But you like the Cowboys, right?

Yes. But I'm just telling the truth. I might be blowing off a little steam because I'm frustrated. I had such high hopes. I thought this team was a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Definitely wrong on that. It is what is. I really do hope they have a good draft

I'm sure he's gonna play, just not sure he survives the season. If gets creamed you have to imagine his season is a wrap.

I'm not impressed with Dez this year. There is no way he should be blanketed by no name CBs like that. He should be carrying the offense. Maybe he's not healthy?

If you cant tell hes not 100% and Josh Norman is not a no name...

Seriously bro, the short bus is leaving the stall. Please get on it.

Stupidest thing, by far, posted today.

He broke his clavical eight weeks ago. He clearly wasn't ready to come back. He was completely healthy for most of last season and lit the league on fire.

Posts like this make me question how I get benched and this absolute rubbish is allowed to pass. Ridiculous.

Well that was short lived. 5 days ago it was "Let's get a top 5 pick and get a new QB. We're done." 4 days ago it was "Let's win this division and get another Super Bowl. Finish the fight." Today it's "Let's get a top 5 pick and get a new QB. We're done."

Everyone needs to stop all the SB talk. This team plays better when they're the underdogs.
