Nice try but dumb analogy. The Cowboys defense has no history of playing like the 2000 Ravens so of course that would be an overreaction. On the other hand, this team has a history of red zone troubles the last several seasons.

Except that we completely shifted our scheme on defense while changing coordinators.

Sort of like how we have seemingly rebuilt the line on offense while also changing coordinators.

But whatever. I'll choose to be cautiously optimistic. You can grind your gears and be overly pessimistic. At the end of the day none of our thoughts/opinions will change the way the season plays out. But I sure will have been happier than you.
