This is all on Garrett. He tries to go for the kill-shot all the time and it has created this habit in Romo to just go downfield. He doesn't reign in his QB with a good plan.

Jason Garrett is horrible. Again, his QB is hurting and he is trying to go downfield all the time. You would think he would come up with a game plan that shortens routes. He only sees downfield.

That's my thinking...

Garrett thinks he's in the 90's. You haven't heard anyone including the media claiming Garrett is a genius this year.

I blame Garrett, because he is suppose to reign his QB in. If your QB is out of rhythm, you try and get him in rhythm by going for quicker passes.

Who chooses the calls to go downfield?

I think it's time for Roy Williams to start bringing something to the table. Garrett should start aiming most passes at RW, and let's see what he can do. Because he WOULD be our number 1 if Owens were hurt or something, so let's see if we can focus more on him this next half.

yea its not like the deep pass its his only option. its Romo's job to read the defense and pass it underneath if there is nothing downfield!!!! Romo's a moron though everytime he faces pressure he just jacks it deep hoping for a freakin miracle...
