***Cowboys vs Texans 2nd half game thread***

@SullyBaldHead: This is exactly the kind of game the Cowboys would find a way to lose the last four years. Now finding a way to win these games.

Postgame they are saying RMcClain tweaked his leg, and as he went to the sideline, threw his helmet down. Not good. One of the reasons Foster was gashing us for big yards late in the 4th and overtime without McClain. And we play Seattle next week.

It's nice because we typically lose these types of games

In reality, you might lose half of them...depending on the coin toss. Overtime games still favor the toss winner. The Cowboys proved resilient against a winning team with a very stout defensive front. They showed a continued commitment to running the football and gritty, bend to the breaking point defense. However the series around the two-minute warning was one of the worst of the Garrett-Romo era. The football Gods conspired against the Cowboys today, but they had just enough Spartan will to see it through!

It should have been easier, but this team usually loses that game (almost always).

This. Some folks need to understand that not every game is going to be a blowout. Some are going to be ugly. That was a clutch finish. Period.

Clutch finish after a total collapse might be exciting but does not bode well for the rest of the season as the schedule gets tougher.

This was a great win. We made more than enough mistakes to lose this game, but still managed to get a defensive stop and drive the length of the field in OT to kick the winning field goal. This is exactly the kind of game we need to win to get to the playoffs.

Your agenda is showing.

Sad that a supposed Cowboy fan cannot be happy about a win.

I'm very happy with the win but they still made too many mistakes. If they were playing a good team with a better QB, they probably lose to 2 TDs the way they played. It's hard to get excited when you can see what's coming and aren't blinded by false hope.

Anyone know what column close sloppy game goes in when you score more points? Just curious.

so Mcclain and carter both out next week, good thing its against Seattle and not a division opponent.
