***Cowboys vs Texans 2nd half game thread***

Those of you trying to rain on our parade, TAKE A HIKE! This is happy time at Cowboys Zone. We beat a team with a winning record in a big game. We have won 4 in a row. The defense played very well today. Dan Bailey redeemed himself and the pressure is off of him to be perfect all the time. Romo played very well, even with a few miscues (int., delay of game). T-Will was shaky but he redeemed himself. Dez was shaky but he redeemed himself. Demarco fumbled but he redeemed himself. Harris fumbled but he redeemed himself. If not for our own mistakes, we would've won going away, but we did make those mistakes just like in past years. The difference is we didn't give up, lay down, roll over. There is fight in this team and 3 of the next 4 games are at home. I am so happy right now. I don't know what the rest of this season holds, but nothing's going to take away from this big win in a big game against a team with a winning record.

I'm very happy with the win but they still made too many mistakes. If they were playing a good team with a better QB, they probably lose to 2 TDs the way they played. It's hard to get excited when you can see what's coming and aren't blinded by false hope.

Just try to enjoy the win. You can't worry about what hasn't even happened yet.

The cowboys are playing very respectable ball this year. None of the clownishness I've seen of years past. They need to clear things up, but this is looking less like a circus and hopefully the respectability of the star will be reestablished this year. I want to see what they do against the Seahawks.

Way to win the game!!! That's how it's supposed to be done!!! Mistakes are part of the game and we overcame them!! Iur team from seasons past would've been 2-3. As the saying goes, "you're what your record says".... 4-1 is good to me.

You probably are not old enough to remember ....... but the 90's boys would regularly play down to their competition and eek out wins. Especially in rival games.

Next week will say alot about this team ....... but its not totally dependent on a win or loss.

Wow salty a little?

Nope totally happy with the win. No complaints and thought it was a great comeback effort against a good team. Amazing how the pumpers come out of the cracks and tell all other fans how to feel and what to say. Last I heard, all fans have a right to cheer or not anyway they want.
I'm coming around myself and it's hard after all the disappointment but fans getting on other fans is a waste of time.

Why do people keep saying this? Our record is pretty clear: we beat bad teams, and we lose to good ones. That's what we've been seeing. I think some of you guys just think we've been a better team than we've actually been here recently.

And this 3-2 Texans team, by the way, was no joke today.

I look at it like this. Your team isn't going to hit on all cylinders every week. This week the offense was the disappointment. We should have been throttling this team by half-time. Turnovers and failed conversions held us in check. This much maligned defense kept us in the game long enough to let the Special Teams unit and the offense make a play when it was needed to win. Even the best of the best teams win ugly every once in a while. I'm super encouraged by the psyche and never say die attitude of this football team. Ugly win or not.

Great win didn't think Texans D would stifle the offense so much. Those 2 TO in scoring position hurt. Shouldn't have made it to OT. Rooms int was terrible. Murray's fumble equally heartbreaking
