News: Cowboys waive Brandon Weeden

Cassel probably did enough to convince the Cowboy staff that they still don't need to draft a QB.

We won't have Brandon Weeden's lovely balls to kick around anymore.

I feel for the guy. But then I feel for anybody who seems like a good person who just wanted to work hard and be good at something really really difficult and who just wasn't good enough at it.

I think he's the veteran backup we stick with going into the season, but we still spend a top pick on a candidate to fight it out with Moore and Cassel in camp.

Add him to the list of key guys the the organization decided to roll into a Super Bowl expectation season with who didn't survive the regular season on the roster along with Randle. Another great decision....
