Cowboys Waiver/Practice Squad Tracker: Players Claimed by Dallas

Our PS has better players than players on the 53,Rod Smith??really?

Wonder if they are working a few trades? Really does not make sense to not claim a few players when there are only a couple of players able to play.

Guy on his third team that really has never done anything. Maybe he works out, but it's really wish in one hand, crap in the other and see which fills up first.
I'd rather see the guy play, which I have since he's been in the league. Better than handling crap.

Admittedly, Front Office personnel are far more knowledgeable than I, but considering the state of Cowboys LB corps, thought Arthur Brown (Ravens cut) would be a nice look...

If Justin Durant is asked to do anything other than sit on the bench and collect his game check, he'll go on IR before September ends and we will have no choice but to do some shopping.

He would have been a good guy to look at since he was miscast as an ILB in the 3-4 and had coverage ability. Not sure who they would have cut at LB though. Gachkar seems like an over-paid guy but LBs and STs coaches like him. Wilson and Nzeocha seem like keepers. Durant? That would be my guy to move on from.

Is a guy who has slightly more talent but no knowledge of the D or ST playbook really an upgrade?

Gathers, defensive end Ryan Russell, receiver Andy Jones, receiver Vince Mayle, linebacker Deon King, center Jake Brendel and tight end Austin Traylor are players the Cowboys would like to clear waivers so they can be signed to their 10-man practice squad.
