Sounds like he's bad in coverage which would limit him to the sam linebacker spot. And not a good fit for Marinelli.

I still think the NFL should expand the roster to atleast 58 players and allow teams to activate more on game day. The fact teams carry essientially 10 free agent players on a practice squad seems crazy, but I guess its a considerable cost savings for the clubs which is why it hasnt been changed.

Escobar has the talent to be a very good pass catching te in the league and I wouldnt let him go. The only things that have held him back are a HOF TE in front of him, and limited blocking abilities. The injury last year was unfortunate, but I wouldnt give up on him either. I think we scout TEs well, but havent found a way to incorporate two tes into the lineup, likely because how we use our wrs and rbs as receivers.

Still not sure about him. Yes, big target and runs (I believe) decent routes. However, he's sort of plodding and not a good blocker in any way shape or form. Doesn't present the mismatches down the field because his speed is quite average. I just don't think he's a hard cover because there is nothing quick or fast about him.
