because WE LIKE OUR GUYS!! And everyone knows wearing the star is an honor and as soon as some JAG puts on the star they just get inspired to play their best. Just ask Jerry and Stephen!

I’m sure when he’s missing kicks and they pan to those idiots in the box seats they’ll look completely shocked and disappointed! This team is just a brand.

Team comes up short, Jerry and Stephen act like they didn’t see this coming at all, mccarthy will be fired, they’ll sign Peyton cuz lord knows this team is only good at selling hope. Rinse repeat.

He also holds the Cowboys FG distance record at 63 yards.

I doubt he will be our kicker on opening day but the outrage is laughable.

If memory serves, Maher was great with very long FG's, however, he struggled with the shorter ones. Oh joy. Personally, I would prefer someone who is automatic from anywhere below 50 yards to someone who can kick it long.

Your memory is spot on. Big leg but terrible with accuracy. Going into the season with poor kicking is a big problem.
