Cowboys were 195-0 when leading 14 points in 4th qtr

Has anyone mentioned how Parsons wasn’t rushing the passer enough? It was another key to losing.

An amazing record which included not only the regular season but playoffs.

Never before in Cowboys history had we lost a game after leading by 14 points in 4th qtr.

How does one of the alleged top defenses in NFL this year blow a 14 point lead in 4th qtr?
Cowboys' defense is Parsons.
On some occasions it's DLawrence and Diggs.
Teams are starting figuring out Parsons. Parsons needs couple of consistent partners.
He needs a Randy White. He needs a Jethro Pugh. He needs a Harvey Martin. He needs a Ed Jones.

Fans don’t even want to discuss why our defense gave up 31 points. Or a 14 point lead in 4th qtr.

Not true. Myself and others have started numerous threads attempting to analyze this defenses glaring run stopping problems.

The defense couldn't hold AND the offense went AWOL in the 4th quarter and OT.

As soon as I saw that stat line, my first reaction was here comes 195-1. I don't remember the particulars of another game, but I've seen such a positive stat displayed when the Cowboys were playing before, and lo and behold, it too became tarnished.

I usually stay off after a loss initially with all of the emotional knee jerk reactions so I guess I did miss it.

Yea, Dak threw a couple crucial interceptions but we overcame and had a 14 point lead heading into 4th qtr. Should have been enough with our defense . But it wasn’t cause our run defense suks giving up about 200 yards and Rodgers who must receive his due .

If we have to depend on Dak to bring us back in these kind of situations where our defense blows then we are going to struggle. Always have.

…..just generating enough offense to get 3 points in an entire 4th quarter against a 3-6 team shouldn’t be too much to ask a 40 million dollar man to produce. But as I and many others are saying, the defense was putrid

It’s those kind of narratives which turn me off on this forum saying our 40 million dollar QB should be doing this or that based on his contract.

Most of us know the hype around him are inflated much like his salary . He’s not that caliber of QB despite what he’s being paid or hyped . It just becomes a talking point for Hacks.

We scored the 2nd highest in points all season.

The defense looked like it was deep in love with Green Bay RBs.
Yep. And we are facing 3 of the top RB’s in the next 3 weeks. Our defense could continue to get bashed.

Cowboys this year have gone how our defense goes.

.

if that opinion turns you off you better not watch or listen to sports media. That exact conversation is taking place ,even while I type this , in many venues on TV as well as online media.

it’s fair to and normal to have conversations about any players salary cap burden and if the team is getting its moneys worth. Adults usually understand this very basic concept

4th and 7....one stop wins that game. Then again, with Kellen Moore over there drooling on his sheet, maybe not.

I don’t . I only follow the local media and beat writers. The rest is just noise to promote their platform.

Daks salary is on Jethro. I get the argument . It’s just not an in-depth analysis or evaluation. We all know he’s over paid . Now what. Is that the only argument you can present ?

The same Hacks bashed him when he was on Rookie salary. It’s just a bigger talking point. There are so many other issues to address with the weaknesses of this team and organization than our QB is over paid. Yes, that is elementary.

Doesn't he make 20 mil this year?

Market value has nothing to do with fans expectations. If a team decides on a franchise QB, they sign him to a salary accordingly. Daks salary is behind a bunch of players.
Salary is what people cling to to fit their narrative. It's kind of lazy considering how much a player actually takes home.
